Flavorful and fresh. Great service.

This was my first time visiting this place but I'll definitely come again. As soon as we showed up we were immediately greeted and provided with a table and the entire time were treated in a very friendly manner. Food tasted very fresh and authentic and even offered us some of their spicier salsa. They had 4 different types of salsa for my tacos and they were all very delicious. Green salsa, red salsa, guacamole salsa, and a spicy Chile de árbol salsa.

Been here twice, regardless of my hesitation to eat much seafood in a land locked state. It was great both times. I love octopus and they do a good job with cooking it. The margaritas are great, as well. Very nice and accommodating staff. One critique is I feel there is too much on a plate for some dinners. The protein, fries, a salad that isn't dressed, and rice. A bit much. The fries are great, but they feel a bit out of place on the plate. Will definitely go back!

Pricey but Good Food. Good service overall

excellent service great food as always ?

Celebrated my 33rd Year in business and usually do swordfish every year and when searching, Costa Del Mar popped up in search. I'm sure because of the seafood. Have been here once or twice before and was good and I always thought a bit pricey but I usually played it safe in the past. Not on this night. I ordered the half pineapple and it was filled with Shrimp. Crab Meat. Clam Meat. Scallops and of course pineapple. Good friends were with us and everyone's plate looked good. The wife is doing the diet thing so there was a salad involved but ever her salad had plenty of chicken on it. Margaritas good as usual and nice variety of beverages.Really when you look at the prices, they are pretty close to most places. Definitely I'll go back sooner than later. Highly recommend!

I'm sure everyone is over worked but the service was just par. Waiting to get an order in was tough. We walked in and asked to place an order to go, were told where to wait. Couple minutes later asked again what we needed, and told she would find someone. Asked a third time same story. When we did get service the guy asked what he could help us with (again lol) and then answered two phone calls as if we weren't there, then asked us again what we needed. Safe to say all Mexican food restaurants taste great, but the service is the separation and this was not it.

Long post. Bare with me. We sat at the bar. That typically means, we want in and out. No ambience. Place our drink order with the bartender. My husband gets a water. I get a vodka club. However, our tender did not understand my order. So, he got help. Language barrier. I'm not judging. I can only speak English. He's doing better than me. Get our drinks, and finally place an order. You don't need 200 options on your menu. Less is so much more. It usually implies, it's fresh. Not frozen. My husband ordered fajitas. I got garlic butter shrimp, with beans and rice. No bread. Let's talk about that. It usually comes with rice, fries, and BREAD. Is this a Mexican restaurant even? My bartender came back a second time to verify. Language barrier. Repeat my order. Stress no bread again. I'm celiac. Guess what I got. My order, with a huge piece of bread. My husband got a huge quesadilla. Not what he ordered. I let my waiter know this isn't right. Not his fault. Back to the language thing. Manager comes out. I explain. Yes, I could have removed the bread. Then I could only eat, what it didn't touch. For $16 a plate, I'm getting all of my food. After telling him what I wanted, he tried to correct me. Told me there was gluten in the rice. I'm like, you sprinkling flour in there? No? Beans an d rice are gluten free. The fact you are a manager, and have no idea. Tragic. How many people have you run off, because of your lack of knowledge. After, telling him what I wanted, I didn't get it. I got shrimp with burnt garlic. No butter. I'm ready to cry. So, I went outside to medicate, and cry. He told my husband there is gluten in the butter. MF, butter is cream and salt. They make my plate a third time, correctly. At this point, I'm done. Probably spit and pubes in this s**t. My waiter looks like he wants to cry. I already did. I've been polite this whole time. They took $8 dollars off of my bill. Seriously? Me and dude, are crying. At the end of the day, you did the two of us dirty. If I had been an old white guy, or a Karen, what would they have done to this fine young man. Second, figure out what GLUTEN is. It's not a new allergy. My son works at one of your sister restaurants. I know what I can eat. I'll never be back. No, I didn't want a free meal. I wanted a correct meal. Not on the third try....
