The worst chinese food I've ever had. I completely wasted $30 as my dogs wouldn't even eat it. I'm seriously confused how this place can stay in business...perhaps it's because they are ripping people off by overcharging their customers.
First time I was here it was ok but the second time, they didn't listen to "no veggies" and brought one with veggies. Once they brought the one without veggies, the sauce tasted like pure soy sauce. Not spicy. Not sweet. I couldn't finish my rice for the first time because it was so awful. (I got the pork with garlic sauce)The sesame chicken tasted normal however., And the Rangoon was pretty good.
Very expensive considering the portion and quality. They made the food really fast and maybe too fast. The lo mien was not well stir fried. It’s just bland and sulky. The dish that comes with rice, small size cost us $8.29!!! I mean other Chinese restaurants in the area sell the same thing at 6 ish or even 5 ish, taste better and come in a bigger portion (main thing separated from rice which makes it not sulky). It’s just not good. Not to add that the lady was so rude and mean. As a local myself, I would recommend you go to China City by Northwest blvd. So much better, food, price and the service…
Quick spot to get Chinese food. Ask fir prices. The menu is missed market. They apologized and honored lower price. Vegetable lo mein had fresh broccoli, mushrooms and onions. It was good. Good for family. Just remember your are in the Midwest. Chinese is a little different here than in SF Bay Area.
It used to be my favorite place, but today I took my company workers and the food sucks, and the restroom is disgusting ,I would rather pay more for the food instead of having food with poor quality,and this is the 4th time it happened Im definitely looking for a better Chinese restaurant.
DONT ORDER CHINESE FROM CHINA CAFE IN DAVENPORT IOWAWAS GARBAGE!!!!! ? WHO DEEP FRY BREADS THE CHICKEN THAT GOES IN THE CHICKEN FRIED RICE? I CAN MAKE BETTTER CHINESE THAN THEM, AND THE MANAGER NEED TO BE FIRED THERE WAS ALSO A HAIR IN MY FOOD.??? DIRTY NASTY EGGS ROLLS THAT WERE FROZEN AND REFRIED. BUT THE MANAGER LIES AND SAYS EVERYTHING IS FRESH MADE TO ORDER. I HOPE U DROP DEAD. YOU DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS, HAD THIS BEEN A PROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT THEY WOULD HAVE REFUNDED ME OR OFFERED A DISCOUNT ON NEXT ORDER. THIS RESTAURANT IS OBVIOUSLLY ON THE WAY OUT, IF GORDON RAMSEY WENT IN THE BACK WHO KNOWS WHAT MIGHT BE FOUND. NASTY DRIED OUT FRIED RICE WITH A WEIRD ODOR AND TASTE.
SO FAST!!! Ordered take out and it was done in a flash! Even with a special order. So delicious! I drive across town for this place because they are absolutely worth it!
Decided to try and had delivered. Food not to bad, but order was short some items that were not included. Which after checking is common. Missing the egg rolls.
