The fish was fried to perfection and the flavor was on point. I was just there 2 days ago and I was very pleased again. My order was hot and already prepared and waiting for me. 5 stars J&J!
First impressions on the business great signing on the outside of the building, seems a little dark on the inside. Maybe one or two lights will brighten the place up a bit. Cashier seems very nonchalant, but now to the food. I ordered an 8 pc whole wing lemon pepper with fries, and Mac and cheese bites. Open the box base off looks chicken needs a little more seasoning on there. Fries look pretty average, Mac and cheese bites were golden brown as they should. Now myself I have eaten at a lot chicken restaurants by far this one is in my top 3. Chicken was amazing (a little more seasoning), fries were good despite how they look, then the Mac and cheese bites were perfect. Whatever season if any on the Mac and cheese bites keep doing it. Overall my first experience with JJ I was very impressed forsure. Keep up the good work! Definitely would recommend to any and everyone. Out of a 10 score, I would give it a 8.7 could easily be a 9. I will be back every time I pass thru here
Ordered from Grub Hub and they did not give me the essential hot sauces needed for my catfish meal that I specifically asked for in the special notes (willing to pay extra for) after spending $30+ on ONE meal. Disappointed. Also did not receive the utensils and napkins I check marked through the app. For me it’s the price I paid for half the meal I wanted. Thanks JJ’s.
Being from Florida I would never expect fish to taste so good they have great food with great service and I will definitely be spending money here. Bye bye Popeyes the grass is definitely greener at JJ's
Google said the location was dine in, no inside tables for dining in.Chicken dark pieces were small, fries were lackluster. Everything was coated in a powdery lemony flavoring that distracted from the original flavors of the food (there were no signs that I saw marketing this seasoning, & I wasn't given a choice to accept or decline this seasoning).15 minute wait for a 3 piece dinner & 20 chicken wings. Not an incredibly long wait if you're comparing to sit down wing joints, but certainly longer than big name fast food chicken.After years of curiosity on how the food will taste, I can confidently say I don't need to return for a second visit.
I'd like to give them another star but the food is uninspiring. It's serviceable but lacks any real flavor.Their hot sauce is excellent however!Overall a decent option if you're looking for fried chicken or fish.
Food was ok. But.... you have to take out a second mortgage to be able to order from here. A single person dinner, some desserts and a bottle of pop cost the same as a regular sit down restaurant for 2 person.
There are some dishes at JJ’s but their fried okra gets them five stars. The seasoning is amazing with a slight kick. I could snack on them forever.
Always good food always good service with a smile. Just call ahead so you don't have to wait around for a half hour to get your food.
