I had realistic expectations for an Italian restaurant ~ I had a simple request of linguine with white clam sauce! Instead I get this overpriced seafood bowl (25.00) that i had and sadly it was as bland as could be! The waitress was like we can't make a special order because everything is made to order / homemade ~ exactly! I'm confused... and her follow up after was do you want a hot fudge sundae to make up for it ~ no thanks I'm done! Definitely felt like I got taken advantage of, I should have simply gone to the olive garden ~ I just wanted to try a more "authentic" Italian place, somewhere off a box chain and I couldn't have been more disappointed!! Ugh
The food is excellent here. It is not cheap, but not crazy expensive. We celebrated a birthday and all 5 people enjoyed their meals. The service was okay, but other visits the service has been better.Portion sizes are not huge, which I think is a good thing. Better to get a normal amount of delicious food than an overfilled plate of fried junk.Favorite dish is the lobster fettuccine, and the baked ziti was very good as well.
Biaggi's is a special place for us. The service is always great, the food is always good, hot, and fresh. The Classic Bruschetta is the best I have ever had. I can't recommend anything specific because I like everything I have ever ordered. The prices are very reasonable too.If you have never tried Biaggi's, I recommend giving them a try. We have never been disappointed. Note: A reservation is a very good idea. It's a very popular place.
Great place to meet and eat. Best Italian in the Quad Cities.
I had a food gasm. Even shed a tear due to the delicious flavors. The telape was absolutely amazing and I will definitely come back to taste it again. The restaurant is beautiful and can be a gorgeous date night or a family outing. Prices are also very reasonable, and your food gets packaged for you in a to go box when you're finished. Had a very pleasant experience!
Food is awesome. Service in the bar, perfect! Thanks Savonnah, you’re the best
Food was great! So was the atmosphere, but when after ordering my entree my waiter asked “soup or salad” and I said soup. Ate it, it was mediocre. But when the bill comes, I thought the soup or salad came with the meal (usually when they ask that right after you pick your entree that means it comes with it, especially when they say it like that), it did not and my waiter did not let me know of this extra charge. So I saw it on my bill and that’s when I asked about the charge and that is when she notified me of the extra charge. All I ask is that in the future the server notify the customer of the extra charge. I paid for it, but I’m definitely not impressed with the staff.
The dining experience was great. The food is amazing. The staff was really nice. I ordered Dijon Salmon. My salmon was really good but capellini was a bit mushy and needed more flavors. My husband’s Chicken Pietro was great. The best thing was Crème Brûlée! So rich and creamy! Not egg-like at all…One thing I think could have been made better is the seating layout in the restaurant. A bit too crowded, not enough space to walk around. I even felt bad for the staff walking around and serving. And a little bit more space could make the experience more exclusive and personal… but overall, great dinner!
delicious food, elegant atmosphere, love the fireplaces
we had the lump crab cakes, lobster corn chowder, sea scallops and salmon with shrimp ..everything was great ..cheese cake for dessert
