They were a bit understaffed when we came but it was still great! We just love this place
Food was okay, not spectacular. The service was a little less than average (on the slower side). It was clean and presentation was nice. Would I eat here again? Yes, but I wouldn't consider myself a frequent flyer.
We were playing at the pool tournament at the River Center. We heard good things, so we walked over to the Barrel House. Nice clean place. Really like the decor. Restaurant was about 1/3 or 1/4 full. Waitress was nice. Placed our order and waited......and waited....and waited some more. Atleast a 30 or 40 minutes . We ordered 1 cheeseburger & fries and 3 wraps with fries. The wraps were all good. My burger was cold. Besides being cold, it was just ok. Nothing spectacular. My friends sweet potatoe fries were cold. The regular fries were all hot. We didn't send anything back, cause we had waited so long to begin with. Honestly we were there for a solid 1.5 hours.
Food was good but service was so-so. Had to ask wait staff for things we should have gotten with our meals and staff was slow to serve. We were one of only 3 tables in the place.
I was to meet friends for dinner here but one of them was in a serious car accident a few days before. Food is delicious and the service has always been excellent. That is why I recommended Barrel House.
Always one of our favorites. They have a wide menu and the service is always outstanding. Think comfort foods and sports bar food combined. Would recommend everyday and twice on Sundays
Suddenly overpriced. I know things are weird right now but $90 for two meals and two drinks.Edit: I forgot there was an appetizer on the bill also. We went to another restaurant for a very comprable meal the next night $45.
Family friendly bar and grill. Nice downtown location. Good beer options, 10 on draft and more in cans. Limited menu, pub grub, mostly: food from the deep fryer or grill. Avoid the portobella fries: the mushrooms slices disappear in the thick breading and grease.Low point was the inebriated young man, describing himself as a manager, who spent 10 minutes table-side, babbling while our meal cooled. Kept saying the same things, and asking the same questions, over and over.We have had better experiences at the Barrel House in the past. I suspect this was just an off day for them. Looking forward to giving them another shot.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The food was delicious and we had enough leftover for lunch the next day. The prices were also very reasonable
Amazing food and awesome service! Our favorite place to eat in the Quad Cities! Jeremiah makes the best drinks, including some of his own creations. Ask for a caramel apple martini.
