I have eaten here before and the food is always good. This time I had the baby back rib platter, and for dessert, the chocolate chip cookie in the skillet with ice cream on top. Great meal. And being a car guy, the decor is cool.
Wow! Had a great experience. Our waiter was amazing, the food was good, and the little extras are a nice touch - we even got heated wipes to clean our hands after the meal. The decor is also a lot of fun. Will definitely go again!
5 stars for taste. 3 stars for price. 3 stars for service. The main reason I go to restaurants is for good tasting food. This burger did not disappoint, my husband's wings were awesome, he really liked the sauce. Disappointed that it costs $1 to split sauces, and .75 for ranch. Neither of which I was informed about. The service was slow, but overall I'd still come back. You never know when someone is having an off day or is super busy so I don't get hung up unless someone is being rude to me. Also the wings and pretty much all sauces are gluten free, they offer a gluten free bun as well!
I'm never one to leave a review because I'm too picky. BUT....... Here goes.Loved the service loved the place. The food was perfect according to my pallet is a very hard thing to achieve. Not gonna lie I can be very picky. If I pay for something it should b done right. There was plenty of space for any size crowd and my son thought it was crazy 2 eat under the race cars hanging from the ceiling.
Was very disappointed. We have always had pretty good service here until this visit. Took almost 45 minutes to get our meal and it wasn't like they were real busy. When we asked for a manager it took them 10 minutes to get to our table. When we got our food 2 of the steaks were so well done and they were about 1/4" or less in thickness and the other 2 we're almost raw. Couldn't even ask for management again. Ended up taking the meat home. She gave us 10 percent off our bill... I think it will be a while before we go back. So disappointed ☹️
I was charged for a 10oz steak and given maybe a 8oz steak. When I called them out for the mishap I was treated like a POS after being told I was correct that it wasn’t a 10oz steak. After being brought my steak at a minimum of 2oz short it was cooked at least medium when I requested rare. Not given any reconciliation for my terrible visit leading to this review.
This is a fun place to go on date night. Both my wife and I like wings. We have a place we like in Imogene, IA that sets a high bar. This place meets and sometimes exceeds that standard. The decor is kitschy without being smarmy or too much. Again a tough line to toe but they do it. It's great for small parties and large groups. Nice!
First time ever eating here and I wasn't disappointed! Great good...decent prices... only complaint would be that the waitress wasn't very attentive... we were never asked if we wanted our drinks refilled... and she was very quick to toss the check on the table without even asking if we were done.. would have been a perfect lunch date if not for the waitress
We had a 10 day stay at "My Place Hotel", which is right across the street from Quaker Steak & Lube. The food was phenomenal every time. Darren, our usual waiter was so good, sweet, and consistent. BTW "My Place Hotel" is worth every penny. Awesome experience in Council Bluffs area
I am very very disappointed in our service tonight !! I have been in customer service almost 12 years!! Food was good but took forever! Our server Kayla was taking shots at the bar with the bartender! In front of everyone! You can tell she judged us right away when we sat down . We had a party of seven. Probably thinking we weren’t going to tip. But little did she know we are all very very good tippers. One person had to go up to the bar and ask for refills on our waters. We can hear our server WITH AN ATTITUDE “sorry I’m busy”. But she wasn’t busy to take shots . I am not the one to complain at all. But this is very unacceptable. And I hope someone does something about the drinking on the job deal!!
