We ordered via door dash and ended up getting the wrong order. I called the door dasher with no response. Called the store to find out the dashers place the orders directly with the store and ordered incorrectly. The manager Raquel was very apologetic and explained the process, and took order to have delivered with their drivers. Thank you for the great service and quick delivery. Fajitas are amazing!!
Ordered Primos togo and when we got home our order was wrong. We called and they brought the corrected order to our home since we were not in the area.
I'm always skeptical about Mexican restaurants. My mom and grandmothers were amazing cooks so it's hard to find Mexican food I enjoy. I was pleasantly surprised. The rice was flavourful and not dry at all, it was perfect. The beans had delicious flavor and also. Not dry which was fantastic. We had the bean and queso dip, delicious. The chicken flautas, delicious. And the strawberry margarita....❤️. The food was hot and fresh. The hottest salsa was exactly what I hoping for. The heat was delivered in the best way. And lastly but definitely not to be forgotten, the service. Oh my gosh, the service. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ It's been a while since I've been served by someone so friendly who seemed to enjoy their job. Thank you for paying attention to us and filling my water without having to wave you down to ask for it. I look forward to returning. Only 4 stars because I haven't tried all of the menu yet. ?
We had an ok experience. Good food, Good service, Lots of parking space! Happy Tummy! ? We plan on coming back, hopefully, the tables are not that sticky anymore .
Visited the new Omaha NE location. Upon arrival around 1 pm, advised it was breakfast only. Decided to still eat. After ordering the waiter advised they were out of biscuits for biscuits and gravy. We decided to leave and just pay for our drinks. Charged more for the drinks than the menu displayed. Overall underwhelmed. Unlikely to give it another try.
Fun little place in the middle of an old Council Bluffs neighborhood.Service: Outstanding, friendly, funny, attentive.Food: Good. Not the best Mexican you can imagine, but edible and tasty. My chimi was large and filling. Carne asada was good, as were the steak tacos.Drink: No drink menu provided. I asked about what kind of margs they had. I was told, well, if I wanted something fancy there was banana and mango and ... when I said I was looking for something more traditional, I was told that they had strawberry. Sigh. When I finally just said I'd take a marg, I got something that tasted like it had only mixer in it.But aside from the drink issues, I would definitely consider coming back if I were traveling through town, and would suggest it for locals if they haven't tried it.
Look, I am a big fan of Primos, but VERY disappointed in my recent meal, I ordered their ultimate burrito, which is the size of your plate, it had less then a table spoon of steak in the entire burrito and 98% rice!!!Primos, you made a reputation on service and quality of food, You better go back to that or people will stop coming!! 12 bucks for 14oz of rice and a flour tortilla is pretty sad, good luck

The location isn't on TripAdvisor but this place's two locations pitch themselves as the same dining experience with the same vaunted family history. SO here is a review for the Omaha location. Very disappointing. It's a bar-restaurant vibe and that's how the waitstaff and other staff act and serve. Slow, almost slovenly service. pleasant but with too much personal "bar waitress" manner for the place and hour. Food was moderately well-priced but not especially good. The place moved into an existing space and it looks cold and unwelcoming, too, except for the bar area that looks like a lit sanctuary in a gloomy church, warehouse-style. We won't go back.
I have tried a number of different Mexican restaurants in the area (authentic ones) and this one is by far the best. Great tasting food, large portion sizes, friendly and helpful staff, clean and modern facility. After trying the rest, we always go here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
