You know I hate to give a one-star review, as many of you that follow me know I am now over 5 million views and I hate to complain but this is a complaint.Papa John's in Council Bluffs has really gone downhill.My wife placed the same order she does almost every time and I go to pick it up. I'm greeted to people making pizza cussing along with their favorite rap song, it would be nice if people with facial hair hovering over the pizza would wear some type of a face net but that isn't really what got me upset tonight.The chicken bacon ranch has no Ranch. This is an order that my wife has made dozens of times over the last few years. Probably twice a month we get pizza there. And the guy on the phone was nice enough as he told me if I want a chicken bacon ranch I have to buy a chicken bacon ranch and that they will not remake it.And this really is my fault because we were going to get pizza from either Bertha's or Pizza King but I figured it would be faster just to pick it up from Papa John's.I guess I have learned my lesson. And even though I'm sure they're not going to miss my business, unfortunately many thousand people in Council Bluffs and tens of thousands of people in Omaha actually read my reviews.So as a person that has done these types of reviews going on 6 years now, might I recommend for those in Council Bluffs seeking a good quality pizza because let's be honest Papa John's has decreased in quality, might I recommend that you try berthas off of 16th Street or Pizza King or Pizza Counter. Anytime I have ever had an issue with any of those establishments, the situation was immediately remedied..
Usually pretty happy with Papa John's, but not tonight. Crust on my taco pizza was burned, lettuce looked like it went through the oven, Doritos were un crushed. Looked like someone didn't pick up their pizza so they ran it through again to warm it back up.
The evening "Manager" was completely rude when I called after waiting over an hour for our order. He preceded to tell me that he guaranteed my pizza would be warm because the driver had only been gone for 30 minutes with my order. When I asked to speak to his manager, he said call Brad tomorrow and hung up on me.
It's consistent with every other Papa John's I've eaten at. Efficient service, food served hot, never messed up an order yet.
This is absolutely the worst manege place in the city of council bluffs IowaThis place has no idea what service means but the employees try to over come the mrg. Shortcomings
It was alright.. Pizza was very air bubbly.. Someone should of caught it and remade it.. It was lookin a little ruff..
Lifers for sure. Eat there 3+ times a week. Staff is nice and helpful. Management is superb
I ordered a large thin crust sausage and onion pizza and get it home and it only has toppings on half of the pizza to the pizza I called back the store to tell him what happened and I'm guessing she thought I was on hold but I hear her call me a liar while I'm on hold I'm not happy at all
Service is usually decent. You order a two three topping special you expect pizza to be covered with toppings instead you get more pizza less toppings.
Called in our order went to pick it up noticed it was made wrong, when I brought this up to the shift manager he said he would correct it this time but that they could not do it per my request in the future. I then talked to the manager who said that they could make it per the special instructions just to speak to someone in charge when I call in (according to the shift manager he was in charge?) Waited for 30 mins only to have my pizza made wrong AGAIN!! Is funny because the manager realized it when he opened the box but still brought it to me seeing what I would do or say.. paid for it and ended up throwing half of it away was the worst pizza I have had from Papa John's, have to go into Bellevue next time see if I can get a more honest manager and better tasting pizza!!
