fun machines and left with some money in my pocket....the staff was there with drinks for me and my friend while we were playing... smoking was allowed and all the ashtrays were clean... I'll definitely be returning soon
They have a restaurant called Club 38b for the top tier players. Twice now that I've been in line waiting to get in there has been guests that have stormed off extremely upset. We used to present our ID and our card to get in but now you have to use an app on your phone. Invariably the older people do not have the app cannot figure out how to get the app and are told they cannot enter the restaurant. So I pose a question, why offer free food to your top tier guests just to tell them they can't eat there? Inside the food was good and the staff was friendly.They should have let the people in and told them to go to the players club to get an app afterwards not just shew them away.
In mid may i got a room so I could take my kids swimming, I ended up getting bit all over my body! Im a very clean person & my bed at home was fairly new! I found a bed bug & had to throw away my bed & pillows because I bought them home with me from Ameristar! I told the front desk girl & she said well the room was complementary! No apologies, no I’ll see if we can pay your er visit! Not happy about this experience! Won’t be staying again, this casino has went down hill! Customer service is not the best, there’s never towel in the pool area, & there no way to win on the boat it’s like flushing your money down the toilet! Only good thing is the sports bar! The lady that helps manage the bar cleared our table & threw our things away even though we asked the waiter & bar tenders to keep our spot because we where going outside to smoke! I’ve seen better days & had much better experiences! This will no longer be my choice casino!
We usually have a great experience with this casino and hotel, however on our most recent stay, we were told there was no way to offer a comp we received with our Mychoice rewards which one manger explained in great detail as to why this was the case. I respected her reasoning and agreed to move on without cause. Upon reviewing our account charges we noticed a separate charge of upwards of $300. We called to question this charge it was said that we “stole” two blankets that we never requested and never even received.They are claiming there is no way to review any camera footage as they claim there are none at the front desk nor on any floors, which I don’t believe because a front desk clerk “checked” cameras to see if any luggage carts were on any floors. A large casino brand not having security cameras on floors or at the entrance is a laughable excuse to steal my money.To be labeled as a thief without cause and charging us for the blankets we never received or asked for in my humble opinion is considered theft.
Could do some up grades new curtains , new pillows. Had a smell to the room right when you walked in the room. Windows could be cleaned on outside.was looking for a room so could go gambling and this place was the only place that had any rooms left so I booked with you.
Not many food or drink choices, but the sport's bar is great. Room service only for breakfast. Overall a nice hotel stay.
Sports Bar was awesome, great food, great price for a casino bar & grill.. Casino slots are as always hit or miss, went in looking to spend no more than $100 on slots, won enough that I doubled my $$ AND paid for my meal, not a bad way to spend 2 hours.
I had the bone in rib eye with asparagus, which was better than Fantastic. The 360 never fails to satisfy from start to finish. My wife and I have been enjoying our anniversary dinner there for 20 years or more.
Top notch all the way around. If you are looking for a night out at the casino, Ameristar is the only choice in my book in the metro area. Every one of the employees i interact with has been a class act. I can't say that about my experiences at the other establishments in the area. Keep up the good work!
I am happy with the room. Comfy bed and very roomy. This was a comped room and they are usually sub par. I'd stay again. There is a hair dryer, iron/board, coffee pot, microwave and fridge. Shower soaps in a dispenser on the wall. USB plugs on the alarm clock. Free Wi-Fi. Friendly staff.
