We've been to Vesta a number of times and been satisfied. Recently we went back because they have prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays and we love good prime rib. Aron was our friendly and attentive server. I ordered my meat rare and my hubby asked for medium rare. It came with a really nice baked potato and asparagus. My meat had no pink or red in the center, not rare, dry and tough to cut. I couldn't eat it and just left it. Perhaps I should have sent it back. At $41, it was an expensive reject. My husband's wasn't medium rare but he ate it. I told Aron and he said he would "tell them about it", apparently meaning the kitchen. I probably won't go back, for sure not for prime rib.
The dining experience at Vesta was very disappointing compared to previous visits. The pizza was burned on the bottom. The prime rib was ordered minimum rare but was closer to well done. The bread that accompanied the humus was cut into 1/2” strips. Not sure how you can spread humus on this presentation. I will not be returning. Caution is advised.
The dining area in nice and the staff was pleasant and attentive, however the food was just okay and the drinks were not good. I was perplexed when multiple dishes we ordered had ingredients left off such as bacon left off the proclaimed wedge salad (not a wedge) and no black beans in the egg rolls. We ordered the blood orange old fashion as well as a traditional old fashion with makers and as someone who drinks these cocktails frequently it was quite obvious the bar tender had no idea how to make them. The drinks were so bad we didn’t even finish them, and for $10 a drink that is saying something.
Service was excellent and the restaurant was very nice. The food was good however it was too spicy for my taste. Would recommend Vesta to those who enjoy Mediterranean food.
Manager and bartender were incredibly personable. Treated quite well. No argument from server when I asked to be surprised between 2 meal choices. Will go back to try the other.
The food was great, and service was excellent. The two of us ordered an appetizer, then ordered a salad and an entree, to be shared family style. The staff placed the salad and the entree onto two plates each, beautifully displayed! We appreciated that special touch. Definitely worth another visit.
I got there about 1:30 pm on a Saturday and only one other family there. Took a couple of minutes for anyone to even notice I was waiting to be seated. I ordered a salad with what the menu said was lamb. It was actually gyro meat, which I like, but that is what it should have said because that is not just lamb. And the meat was barely warm and, if you’ve ever eaten cold gyro meat, you know it is not pleasant. The waitress was nice though.
The staff was very helpful with food allergies. I wish we lived closer. The mixed drinks were awesome.
The staff and food are awesome. We had our sons rehearsal dinner here and Jake was amazing. He had an area reserved for us and the staff took excellent care of our large group. We have been there several times since and have not been disappointed
We had a really good server who is a college student. We started off with the chips and salsa and added the queso after the server asked us if we wanted queso. I got the Elk Stroganoff which was hot when served. It had good flavor. My iced tea was refilled as needed. If the waitress wasn't sure of something she checked with the kitchen staff to see if we could get.
