Emma a fabulous server and the Manager Blake both showed incredible customer service. Now the food we both had the Cubano and have lived everywhere, I've decided it was the best Cubano I've ever had, not over cooked, fresh as all get put if you ever get here you will not be let down by this meal. Also highly reccomend the Summer Spritz for a drink. Rum and proscecco with some lemon omg bot too sweet and not ro try perfectly refreshing. A marvelous find I wish them all the success there is as it really separates itself from other places that try and accomplish what they do. Bravo!
Food was awesome. Highly recommend the fish and chips. Cocktails were tasty too. Server was personable and engaged. Regrettably, much of that was overshadowed by the AC being broken on a very hot day and boy, does that building get hot when the air isn’t on. I was sweating my rear off the whole time. My girlfriend is using a knee scooter due to surgery, so would have been difficult to go somewhere else. I get things happen, but what aggravated me is there were multiple fans in use, but weren’t offered to the guests who were trying to enjoy their meal but couldn’t due to the heat. Instead the workers got to cool down. If I were the manager, noticing it was a slow day, I would’ve sent employees home with pay so they didn’t have to deal with that kind of heat. Very inconsiderate and when you pay $75 for a meal for two, you expect a little more accommodations than that. Not sure if I’ll give it another go.
My husband and I have been here twice now for date night, and we were very pleased both times! We both got burgers the first time, my husband got fries with his and I got a side salad with mine. Everything was delicious and cooked well. I especially like how many fresh vegetables were on the side salad. The second time we went, I got the Mediterranean chop salad with a side of Mac and cheese and deviled eggs as an appetizer. First of all, the salad was so fresh and so delicious! All of the vegetables used were crisp and clean, and the dressing paired so nicely with it. The best salad I've ever had. Their Mac and cheese is out of this world, You must try it! And the deviled eggs sounded like an odd appetizer at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were presented so beautifully and tasted just as good! I will definitely be back again!

We love hanging out in the IRL and had yet to try this place. I was excited by the location and their menu. The interior is really comfortable, dark, and warm. We ordered the ahi stack for an appetizer. Definitely exceeded expectations. It was very fresh and a good amount of food for an app- could be ordered as a main paired with one of their sides. For our entrees we got the Cuban and fish and chips (subbed fries for the creamed corn with bacon, which was outstanding). The fish was light and crispy, cooked perfectly, and the Cuban was full of flavor and had a really nice sauce and came with crispy seasoned fries. I didn’t order any of their signature drinks though they all sounded great. Our waiter was attentive and other servers passed by as well to collect plates, refill waters, and check in. We will definitely be visiting again hopefully very soon!

Visited twice in 3 days and highly recommended General TSO broccoli for appetizer paired with either Oh Billy Ale or Cookie Junkie Peanut Butter & Sandwich Cookie Dessert Stout. Nice Atmosphere prior to any game at Iowa River Landing or weekday dinner. Free parking close proximity.
This will be my first time reviewing a restaurant where I didn’t eat (I was looking for breakfast but they only serve bf on the weekend). So I can’t speak for the food, which I’m sure is great, but the hospitality is top-notch. The amazing Grace and Peter at reception made me feel very welcome just for popping in to look at a menu. I, for one, very much appreciate such warm, welcoming, and high-caliber staff.
Always a great experience! Friendly, accomdating servers, great food, enjoyable environment. We will, however, never forgive you for taking the apple crisp off the menu. ? Thank you for giving us something to look forward to on our visits to Iowa City!
Wonderful front house staff! And the back house chefs and cooks provide outstanding food. Must try-Deviled Eggs, Tribute Burger, everything!
