The food and service was absolutely amazingI got the new York strip with a Caesar salad,shrimp,fries and rice.100/10 would definitely recommend(Snap chat filter was used)
Thursday afternoon 4:00 seated in a booth. Friendly and courteous waiter took our order; appetizer of chicken wings,8;Fresh green salad, hot crusty mini loaf of very tasty bread, my partner had the strip steak medium rare I had the porterhouse rare. All the food was first class. The steaks were done to perfection, my first bite was the juiciest tastiest most wonderful experience. Service was excellent, food was well prepared nicely served. As the waiter said when he took our empty plates and brought us the containers for the leftovers " see you next week".
Really enjoyed the environment, service, and most importantly the food.Very delicious steak, shrimp and greens. Always a good choice for a special occasion. A+ in my book.
Our favorite Steak House!! Fantastic stuffed, cheesy mushrooms; stuffed baked potato. Potato and French Onion soups are fantastically tasty and their salads are quite delicious as well. We appreciate their prices and military discount. Cozy, warm atmosphere with great fast service.
Wife and I were looking for place to eat lunch. Stopped at Longhorn Steakhouse in Iowa City. Heather, our waitress was outstanding and extremely attentive to our every need and went above and beyond to please. I had the burger and fries and have to say it was a great tasting 1/2 pound burger cooked to perfection..not sure why this burger wouldn't be in the running for tops in Iowa or at least Iowa City. Now to the good part: The fries are to die for...so good I had to order a separate order for my wife to try. She had the chicken salad and it was excellent as well. All in all we will be back. Thanks to Heather for the awesome service.
As always, the food and service was perfectly phenomenal from start to finish. Thank you Ms Sydney (our server) for joining in the laughter and keeping those delicious strawberry lemonades coming for my daughter's Sweet 16!!!
Even though it was a late Sunday evening when we stopped the service was excellent. We had the N.Y. Strip and the Sirloin. Both cooked perfectly to order. The only suggestion I have is to go easy on the seasoning they use. It can be a bit overpowering . Overall an excellent experience.
Too tired to drive anywhere else, so walked to the Longhorn next to Residence Inn. The wings were awesome as was the salmon and my ribeye sandwich. Chopped salad was good and my Old Fashioned cocktail was very good. Our waiter was doubling as bartender and server and was certainly hussling. Kudos to David!
Easy parking. Quick greeting and seating. Josh was very attentive and personable. Food was delicious and served in a timely manner.it was a celebration of two adults and josh said we could have sundaes which were delicious and he was so considerate to bring spoons to share our tasty treat since we were so full. The appetizers of stuffed mushrooms and the spicy shrimp were also very good. Yum
I live 30min away but enjoyed Longhorn the first time because the steak seasoning was amazing. We chose to make the drive for "date night" (first in a long time). It was a bit busy so had to wait 45 min which is understandable. I ordered the sirloin and my husband the ribeye. Everything else was great but the steaks had no seasoning what so ever. We asked for remade steaks with extra seasoning hoping for the flavor we had the first visit. We waited over 45 min without our remade steaks and only seeing our server once.. After another request to get our bill we finally received it 10min later with our remade steaks. Basically 1 hour passed from the time we made a request for new steaks until we finally received them. Guess what, they were also unseasoned. Worst customer error service experience I've received in a long time. It's going to be hard to want to make the 30 min drive again.
