Great place. Great food! Definitely recommend!
Love coming here for a night out at the hibachi table. Staff are all friendly and make the meal a fun time. Food is tasty with a go to being the ribeye/chicken combo at the table. They have a large selection of sushi as well. They also offer non-hibachi dine in however we have not done that so cannot speak on the service for that. They have a bar you can sit at as well.
My best friend and I had gone twice now and we ordered alot of food. It took some time for the food to get to us but it was SO worth it. The food was exceptional. The service was perfect and very friendly. I didn't like sushi before my friend took me there and I changed my perspective so much. I will absolutely return. Hopefully soon. 6 stars if I could give it. Thank you Konomi.
Konomi is a great place for sushi in Coralville. They also have grill table if you want to grab a group of friends and sake bomb your evening!
Best sushi in town and great staff. I sadly moved out of Iowa City, but make sure to stop in everytime I am in town. Hard to find somewhere in Chicago that compares (yes, I am serious). The price point is great and The fish quality seems to be much better than that of other sushi restaurants. Their Habachi grill is always a great time for group outings. The drinks and the bar are also some of the best. Always very attentive! The Mojito, strawberry martini and maitai are my favorite!
We made reservations for the hibachi grill the night before. The chef was very skilled in his performance and the food tasted amazing!
I WISH I would have taken photos when I went to this place. It was INCREDIBLE.I came here with my wife and three close friends one night not long before the pandemic started becoming noticeable in the public eye.The bill was high, but the qualify and experience was out of this world. The way the food is skillfully made in front of you, as well as the quality of the food is sincerely outstanding.It was a night to remember, but I had so much wine I forgot to take pictures. I'd definitely come here again
Does not live up to its reputation, brought the appetizers after the entrees, and the salads last?You don't get any choice as to what the sushi combos contain, it's just what they give you. Not worth the price, I've had better at Peking buffet
Salads served after one entree. Other appetizers came and then other two entrees finally came out. The potstickers were soggy and doughy.Sushi was satisfactory. I wouldn't order the bun again. It was more like a taco.
