Was back for a visit in Iowa and loved seeing the addition of this new local favorite! The Bad News Bees mule was a favorite and the environment will bring you all kinds of nostalgic Iowa magic. ??
SPECTACULAR sat outside on nice Friday evening! Wings burgers fries beer for me, margaritas for my hubby! Salads are great, no iceberg disappointment here! Highly recommend!
Kyra was a fabulous server. She knows the menu and was perfectly attentive.Grilled chicken sandwich and Spicy Shrimp were just okay but the bed of Brussels sprouts and kale et al were terrific. Salmon was perfect!
Was excited to try this spot! We have now been twice. Fabulous location, fun ambiance and great staff energy. The only reason for the 3 stars is overall food quality. First time we tried the pizza, next time we went for the cauliflower wings. Both times the food was a bit bland and served a bit cold. Could just be staffing and starter issues. We will definitely be back to try again!
My fiance and I went to Iowa Athletic Club tonight for dinner for the first time. We had the best and sweetest waitress Alexa. I had the crunch wrap and it was amazing. We will definitely be back. I recommend Iowa Athletic Club for everyone to try.
We were in for a small birthday gathering, and I think everyone really enjoyed their food. I had the burger called El Diablo, and it was very good (very tasty burger, and a decent amount of heat [I loved the candied serranos]). I look forward to going back to try the pizza next time; it looked pretty good from what I saw on other tables.
Longest bar I've ever seen. Neat enough place. Bartender was nice and not dismissive even tho he was very busy. Neat glasses. Would def go again.
I’ve been watching them build this since the start of the Heartlanders season. Every time my buds and I would walk by, we’d keep saying “oh that’s gonna be a cool bar.” It’s even better than expected! Very friendly and professional staff! Drinks are great, didn’t eat anything but the food looked awesome! And if you love retro Mario Games, check out the arcade! I’ve already told all of my buddies at work about how they had Cubs, Cardinals, Twins and every other baseball game you can imagine on the TV’s!
