I too would give them a lower rating if possible.We decided to give them a try since Steak and Shake no longer does chicken strips.I asked for the strips to be made fresh twice, so you could imagine my disappointment when my order was handed to me almost as soon as i pulled up and paid.I was not too suprised to find they did not cook the strips fresh as I had requested. Not to mention strips were very very different in apprearance from the advertised menu photo. They also served me a piece of bread which is also portrayed as being a piece of toast in the display photo.We will not be returning.
I would give this a lower ranking if possible. fries tasted undercooked the cheeseballs we got were completely black we got a chili cheese dog with no silverware or napkins and the chili on top was cold. The workers had terrible hygiene were very rude dressed skanky.we called them to complain and they said they don’t have a manager or a number for us to call and talk to. this place is terrible do not eat here, i wasn’t able to eat any of the food here because of a transplant diet restricting me from eating undercooked food which is what we had paid $26 for.

Could not even stay in for a minute. The whole place smells bad! You inhale burnt oil at every breath!
If I could leave less than a star I would. This place is never open. They are suppose to be open until 7 and they are closed and it’s 6:20. The other day I went at 1:15 and they were closed. They never put signage up so you wouldn’t know. On top of that their products are terrible. They don’t have the proper cups and they give less and charge more. It’s sad that this is the only option for DQ unless you drive to IC. They don’t have a full menu of hot food either. To conclude, their employees are unprofessional including the way they treat customers and their hygiene. I used to work at a DQ and I couldn’t imagine working in this place. It doesn’t deserve to be branded as a DQ.
Should have looked at reviews before we went to this PATHETIC DAIRY QUEEN. WORST one we have EVER been to in IOWA. Ordered a large and medium turtle sundae and were literally SCAMMED with a cup size and maybe half a cup size for almost $12 by the scrubby employees that work there. It’s no wonder this place has SUCH AWFUL reviews, they hire low life’s to work there and SCAM people that go there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME at this place!!!!!!

By far the worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to in my 33 years of life… you changed your hours yet cannot accommodate for your customers using US currency.
Got there at 6:20 to get some grill food and was informed that “they had just closed the grill down for the night”. Often times Blizzards come out poorly mixed and soupy. This place has a lack of effort throughout. I was willing to forgive in the past but will avoid after being told it isn’t dinner time at 6:30.
The Coralville Dairy Queen has, hands down, the best fast food! And, of course, Ice Cream! The staff is cheerful and helpful. They have remained masked throughout this pandemic!
