We came on a Saturday night and were sat immediately. We ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and the 89 burger. The 89 burger was fantastic-the sauce was amazing and the fries were too! Alfredo was equally delicious and was served in a cast iron skillet which was a nice touch! We got excellent service from Biddy and other staff. Highly recommend you come check it out. Will have to come back soon!

Dinner on 5/21/22 - Food was delicious and fresh, the waitress Kat was awesome and she should get a raise, our group of four loved being served by her, and overall the food and service was amazing. However, the bartender was really terrible...like one of the worst I have ever encountered. What they ordered - what they got. One person in our group ordered an Amaretto Stone Sour - she got Amaretto with Tonic water (sent back, replacement was better)....another person ordered a Tom Collins - he got first essentially a Shirley temple with cherry grenadine and gin, second attempt after looking it up was better but was Essentially just a gin and tonic which was still not correct.... Other person ordered a long island and did get one, we think but it tasted like Dr. Pepper....fourth person's peach Moscow Mule was pretty good we do have to say and would get that again. Honestly will come back for food and service staff being great, but please fix the bar issue it be a perfect 5 if the drinks were even halfway correct and delicious

We got the margherita pizza, local 89 burger, and the cheese bread sticks. Unfortunately the pizza dough was undercooked, so that was disappointing. Maybe the intention is that it should be pliable enough to be like a New York style pizza, but it was quite chewy/off-putting. Aside from the dough, the charred basil, mozzarella, and sauce were nothing to rave about. The burger was cooked medium well which was great, but the buns weren't that great. Burger also wasn't anything to rave about. Cheese bread was great though, would recommend the cheese bread

I have been wanting to try Brick and Iron since they opened. I finally did and was not disappointed. I met a friend for lunch to catch up. We ended up ordering two items to share. First was the appetizer Brisket Nachos. It had the perfect amount of ingredients brisket, jalapenos, cheese, sour cream and green onion. Everything went together well. For the main dish we shared the Anvil 12" cast iron baked pizza. It was delicious and again just the right mix and amount of ingredients. We thought we may have room for dessert but sadly we did not. I will definitely be making another trip to try more of the items and dessert!

Um, my experience… YUM!!!! So first off mad props on the Ranch Dressing. As a ranch fanatic and major critic, I loved their homemade ranch. I ordered their Chicken Alfredo Sandwich, cause apparently that’s a thing, and it was bomb. I taste tested their Cuban Sandwich, as it was different from the last time I went. Nailed it! Their Elk soup was so good, similar to Zuppa Toscana, but in my opinion, even better. The service was great and quick. The Restaurant was very clean, and seemed to operate flawlessly. I would highly recommend Brick and Iron. It is in a low key spot, so if you can’t find close parking, I believe they have a shuttle that will pick you up.

First time there, great wait staff and good food. Parking a problem! Lots full and two blocks away found parking after driving around. Tell city to do straight in parking versus horizontal for more spaces and widen street so parking on the other side as well?

I went to check out the Iowa Heartlanders Hockey Hour. If you sign up for their vip text club upon showing your server you get a free appetizer. I order the brisket nachos and the pig iron burger with a extra fried egg. Both were very delicious. The brisket nachos could almost be a stand alone meal. The only complaint I have is parking can be a bit of challenge but I have seen the restaurant advertise a shuttle service. Would definitely eat here again.

Food was decent. I also got a mule which had great flavor. Great burgers and the menu has a nice selection of comfort foods.

We, my wife Deb and I, ordered 2 pizzas to go while waiting on traffic to clear from the Hawkeye wrestling meet. We were told 20 minutes and arrived on time. When we opened the boxes the crust was really dark like burnt. I guess you could say very much overdone. That is it for takeout from there. Hope this isn’t the norm.

We ordered a 8 dollar bowl of soup, a pizza, and the brownie desert. The pizza was good. no complaints, not life changing as I was led to believeThe soup however, was cold and my biggest irritation was I spent almost 10 dollars for a bowl of soup just to have been given a small SMALL cup of soup one would expect to spend $2-4 for.and the brownie was just alright, though again quality and price is not an accurate representation to what you're actually getting. If you eat here, stick with the pizza.
