I gave this place a second chance after we weren’t happy the first time but there were only 3 tables occupied when we arrived. It took 15 mins to get our order, then I waited a other 10 mins at the unoccupied cash register to pay for our meal. The hash browns tasted like they were cooked with the grease from every other food that day and the cheese on my omelette wasn’t even melted all the way. Floors were so sticky our shoes stuck to them as we walked. There needs to be a grown adult that works there during each shift to teach the teens how to work efficiently instead of sitting back on their cell phones.
My wife and myself enjoyed eating at Village Inn before the new management. My wife is passed went back to the place we both had great food and service to find poor service and food not good. I waited for 20mins by the time I arrived and I left disappointed . Went to hometown got good service and food was great. Not happy at all with the Clinton Village Inn!!!
Absolutely HORRIBLE!! Was ignored completely by staff to where I had to say something for them to take my order then once I received my food it was not all there and they messed up the half they did give me then when I asked for a receipt, she DUG IT OUT THE TRASH! And tried to hand it to me instead of printing off a new copy… DO NOT GO TO CLINTON VILLAGE INN!! Take your money somewhere else! You would get better service from McDonald’s

We waited more than an hour and 15 minutes for food for 4 adults and a child. This is my daughters (burnt) kids cheeseburger, we had to ask for a slice of cheese for it. My mother in law’s order was missing the sauce and we were told the chef would only allow two ounces of the sauce to be given to her as a side so she could add the sauce herself. Two of us were finished with our meals before my father in law even got his burger. Multiple other parties waited just as long as we did, and several people left due to the extreme wait. Our server was very kind and she tried her best, but it’s obvious that poor management is a huge issue here. We will absolutely not be back.
Had the most delicious breakfast skillet for supper. Large portions so leftovers for tomorrow. Our waitress was Diamond and she was awesome, quick, very polite, and had a beautiful smile!!!! Great meal in a great atmosphere!!!!
Took over 40 minutes to get my food. As I watch many others not get what they ordered. And some even needing to have their order remade when they already been waiting over 40 minutes also. One group had been there prior to me and still have hadn’t gotten their food when I left. I would never recommend eating here it is worse than it was before.
Before I begin I want to say i get that every place is understaffed , but yesterday a friend and I had breakfast.( about 11am)we were seated and waited about 10 minutes for anyone to.come to our table,( while all the time watching the two waitresses huddle near the kitchen area not even looking out across the restaurant..and we were not the only table waiting for someone to acknowledge a presence.) Our table was right where you can look in to the pickup area. We flagged the hostess Ivy, down and asked for a waitress and Ivy immediately apologized, got our coffee and took our order herself, brought our food and refill of coffee, checked on us and made the visit pleasant! The one time we saw the waitress assigned to out area was when she came by and asked us what we had so she could re do our ticket..Ivy definitely deserves kudos for jumping in and doing their job while they ignored half the patrons .
I hadn't been to a village inn in several years...and definitely now know what I was missing! The food was delish and our waitress was attentive. We all chose the breakfast option for lunch. Which was awesomely delicious!!
First off the waitresses were very nice but that’s where it ends. We waited for over an hour for our food, the only noises coming from the kitchen were rap music and the microwave; no actual sizzling noises, while waiting we heard three separate customers complain about being over charged, when we finally went up to pay we read over the receipt and they charged us extra for asking for no mushrooms on my dish. Next the dinning area and kitchen from first glance were very dirty. Please save yourself the time and don’t eat here.
