Great evening! Really great food and drinks! We sat outside overlooking the river. Will definitely go back again!!
This place is super appealing for the location & the menu looks tantalizing. We got appetizers & 3 meals. We are outside on the deck which was beautiful but when we got our food all of it was cold....super cold & not that tasty. Great location, great service but food was not worth the money.

I took my wife my moth and my sister here for Mother’s Day. We all was very pleased and impressed with the service even though we could tell the server’s ect had already had a long busy day with customers and being on their feet. The food was Fantastic! My steak cooked exactly how I asked the Chicken George my mother ordered was amazing my wife ordered chicken Alfredo and my sister ordered the tortellini which both didn’t stand a chance they was so good! The portions was great we definitely wasn’t and didn’t leave there hungry and the price of all four of us was around $114.00 which was even better! The Candlelight Inn Restaurant sits right on the Mississippi River so we had a great view.
Fabulous food, excellent service. A bit pricey, but well worth it. Justine provided excellent service. Everyone was super nice, especially seating us at a table where my wife cloud scoot up with her battery scooter. The view was spectacular. Shown are the 12oz Pirme Ribeye, and the Chicken of the Sea (1/2# Chicken George and 5 shrimp) . Steak very tasty, Chicken was super. We will definitely go back!
Went here for the first time for our 6th year anniversary! Very delicious food and very friendly Staff!!! Beautiful restaurant and scenery!!! Highly recommend
Very nice place. Staff always seem to capable and eager to make your visit pleasant. The view of the river is a bonus. Food is always prepared right. Chicken George or prime rib.
My wife and I love to eat here when we visit Clinton because the food is great, service is awsome and the atmosphere is really nice located on the Mississippi River. Last Saturday we got there late at closing time and they said no problem the grill was still on and made us a meal...thanks to the chef, waitress and Manager who went out of their way to accommodate us!!
We have been going to this location for several years, especially when we stay in the marina. Yesterday, Saturday, March 19, 2022, we went for an early supper after a lovely afternoon at Wide Ridge Winery. First, we were very disappointed to see that they have gone to an ala carte pricing whereby you order your main entree and everything else is extra. My husband and I ended up ordering off of their special 2 for $22 menu. He got the meat loaf with mashed potatoes (had to order a side salad separately for $2.99) and I ordered the Alfredo Pasta that came with a salad. When our salads arrived, they were pretty skimpy with little dressing. My husband's meatloaf was a reasonable portion and he said it was good. However, when my pasta came out, I truly thought it was a joke! I kid you not, it looked like a side dish portion barely covering the bottom of a salad bowl. I am not a complainer, so said nothing to our server. But when a manager came by at the end of our meal, I certainly took the opportunity to tell her. She was barely apologetic and no offer to comp anything, although that is not why I mentioned it. I do wish to say our server was very nice, but we will not be back!!
