My 2nd time ever going to wingstop wingstop the bread or buns was overly dry crumbled up not warm & whole lot of butter on top no bone in wings, and tenders over seasoned and unedible
So tonight we ordered the 50 wings package. Was given the time it would be ready...showed up in that time frame. 15mins back home and the wings weren't even warm any more. Was told the fries just came out....cold and mushy. Good flavor but I like my food hot or atleast warmish...
This place should be declared a disaster zone....enter at your own risk. Had an issue with their posted hours and the fact that they wasted my time and money when they weren't open like they were supposed to be. They sent me a gift card for my trouble. Went to look up the amount on the card and the automated response was this is an invalid card!!!!!!!!! WHAT A JOKE OF A COMPANY THIS PLACE IS!!!!!!!!!!
? FALSE ADVERTISING ?I looked up the operating time on Google and it said open till midnight…I put my clothes on and I went to WINGSTOP…(as you can see by the pictures the sign is still on it’s before midnight so I walked in)The young African-American boy at the counter said; “how can I help you?” Assuming they are still open and I was ready to order…when I said what can I get since it’s so close to closing? He then turned, looked at his other African-American co-workers(2), turned back around and said, “sorry we stopped taking orders at 11:40pm”?!.*Noting for the record an African-American man walked in just before me and walked out with a bag of food…(See his car to the left and mine is black to the right)I quietly walked out and took pictures for this review.WINGSTOP-you cost me money and time; and with these gas prices? Why was your sign on?Why did your employee greet me to help me then turn and look to his co-workers and then proceed not take my order at 11:45pm?(Was it because I was white?)Midnight means midnight!?(Reverse discrimination perhaps?)?FALSE ADVERTISING?

My twins and I ate there today. The people that were running that place definitely have it going on. Sounded like he has taken that place to a new higher elevation. The crew was awesome and the food was excellent. Also, met another gentleman there, who out of the kindness of his heart after speaking with us for a bit, bought our lunch! It was not usual dining experience we typically encounter, and we eat out a lot due to being so busy. I believe the district manager was there and he definitely has the public in mind when making decisions that affect his business. My hat is off to Wingstop at Edgewood in Cedar Rapids. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!
Wings were delicious. Service was great. The loud music was annoying and contradicted the brand appearance. Chairs up on tables at 7:05 PM was surprising. Seems like the owner should be paying more attention. We certainly did enjoy our wings and will return for takeout.
Arrived at noon was slow one woman working. Good wings okay got busy she was by herself. Wings were okay I think a little overpriced but they were very generous on the French fries.
Stopped here for lunch with little expectations. The wings were large and juicy with the perfect amount of sloppy sauce! Discovered the employees have been working hard and overtime given the ongoing labor shortage so the owner himself was present and helping guests and his team. You could see his team not only respected him as a boss but as a mentor. A nice experience in this chaotic world of retail.
The 2 employees today go above and beyond to make you smile and enjoy your food! Amazing service and awesome employees!
