The service has alot of room for improvement. Had to ask to get severed had to wait for bartender and server to finish talking about how they were going to spend their days off turkey hunting while everyone was waiting to be servered. The beef tacos tasted like the taco meat had been it the warmer for days. Which might explain the uncontrollable vomiting I experience after an evening at the taco depot. I thought it was maybe just me. However my father was ill also. Along with another person in our group. Never been to a restaurant where you gotta ask for chips and salsa got ask to get served drinks and over all a big disappointment. They make you feel like a burden not a paying customer. Sorry taco depot to disturb your talk about turkey hunting we were hungry!

My fav place in Cedar Rapids. My husband and I pop in all the time for dinner or lunch. Food is always fresh, staff is always friendly, drinks are always delicious. I love the torta and he loves the burrito Depot. Love that I don’t have to wait to be seated. Pricing is great as well. We can eat just the two of us for about $30-$35 with drinks. Definitely recommend it!!

Super good and the service is awesome! This is one of my regular go-to spots in town!

Great tasting Mexican food. Tacos Ramirez for $1 all day Tuesday and they were good enough I'd pay full price on another day. Bartender/ waitress seemed very distracted and she wasn't very attentive. Nonetheless I'd highly recommend.

So good! Pinki was the best! First time there explained menu made some recommendations.. the Horchata was next level good

To go order, first time visit, burrito was bigger than expected and delicious, to go margaritas are expensive but not super weak which was great cause needed it today due to frozen pipes at my home.

I love taco Tuesday! it's delicious ? ? other great food as well! ??? and huge and tasty margaritas - ? ?

The food was decent, not the worse I’ve ever had. However, the service was the worst I’ve ever had, that takes a lot for me to say. It started out fine but waters and menus took awhile for us to get. They had some big groups but, our server wasn’t taking care of any of those tables. We finally ordered after a long wait and ended up sitting there for about 20 minutes. Our server came back and said, “What did you guys order again? They lost it in the back.” So we were pretty frustrated. We finished eating and 10 mins later the server finally asked if we were ready for our checks. He went and got them and we gave him our cards. On top of this our ticket was wrong. He charged me for queso instead of chips in salsa which was a $1.30 difference but he told me, “oh yah it’s same the price. “ (it was not). We waited around 5 mins and saw a guy walk by and point at the ground in confusion. We looked over and it was my debit card, which I had given to our server, laying on the ground. We picked it up waited 5 more mins for him to come tell me they lost it. However, they never came to let us know it had been lost. I walked up to the bar and waited for him to see me, and maybe explain that he had lost my card. At that point he was getting ready to serve other tables. His priority should’ve been finding my card he had lost. I talked to him told him I shouldn’t even be paying for this right now and all he could say was we all make mistakes which yes is true but that’s a lot of mistakes within 1 hour.

I had higher hopes for this place. It seems like a small local place but has a 'chain' feel to it. The tacos were good but somehow missed the mark. I'll definitely try the other location
