Dinner and Drinks!!!Ive eaten at the map room many times. Its always good, and a nice place to chill. It would have been 5 stars, but the service was a bit lacking tonight.The food on the other had was great! Keep up the food quality! will be eating there again!!

Happened upon The Map Room looking for a place close to the Paramount Theatre. What a great find. Awesome space, great service and AMAZING food!!!
Stumbled onto the Map Room on a long drive north. Everything we were looking for in a lunch stop. Great local character, interesting and tasty food with flavors that matched cities around the world, super friendly service, nice regulars who gave us their table and moved to the bar when they saw our family looking for seats, and a really interesting map decor to boot. Can't go wrong here and steps to the nearby art museum. The Indian flavors are especially good.
Best burgers in Cedar Rapids! We drive about 20 miles from our small town to get here. The staff is friendly, food is delicious, and the maps on the walls keep the grandkids busy. If you like a fried egg in your burger, they do it the best! If you're a fan of grilled cheese, you gotta try their 4 cheese grilled cheese, you won't regret it!
This was my first time at The Map Room, however my boyfriend always was bragging about their burgers so we took my parents out to try them. If you get there early enough, you'll definitely have a table but be prepared for a wait when it's rush hour. The place is small and parking is iffy on the street, BUT it's all worth it when you try the burgers. I ordered more BBQ for my sandwhich since it didn't have enough for my liking, but overall it had a lot of tasty elements to it.
Friendly staff and the food was excellent!! The burger I had was very juicy and one of the most flavorful I’ve had.

went here for supper tonight for the first time. great service. for 14.00 we got for a wed. special - hamburger, fries, beer and a bourbon chaser. very good place to go to. very cozy.
