The actual hot dog is so flavorful with the soft bun and amazing toppings. Bacon Cheese Dog with Fries
It was good. Definitely needs a little cleaning.
Stopped by to try out their ITALIAN BEEF sandwich. First off, It took them 10 mins to make an Italian beef combo. The beef meat was very crumbly from sitting in the juices too long. The cook uses eye of round beef. Chuck is typically used for The Italian beef sandwich. The sausage was a homemade brat and the bread used was a Baguette bread?? If you are going to sell an Italian beef sandwich, use the RIGHT ingredients! This sandwich was not good at all. I paid almost $15 for some crumbly dry meat and bread. Think I'll stick with Gianna's Italian beef downtown Cedar Rapids. Their sandwich has better ingredients and prices are lower.
I had the chili dog with cheese and it was one of the best I’ve had! Fair prices and portion is filling. Taste is amazing. Fries that come with it are an added bonus.
Great dogs. Fresh toppings. Buns were soft and sweet. The vintage decorations are very classic and fun. Great staff. Many options available. Chicago dogs are great. Chili dogs are great. I’ll go back to try the sandwiches. The prices are just right as well. Good value.
Chicago Dogs, grilled! Great simple place!
This place is as good as I remember from my childhood. Fries were perfect, we got the half BBQ and the 1/4 hot dog and all of it was done to perfection
Not impressed at all. Only reason two stars is because the people working were super nice.
I love everything about this place from the great food to the nostalgia with all of the airplane stuff, the plane on the roof, the video games that I remember from when I was young or the friendly faces of the owner and staff. Always a fun visit and I've been going there for many years--used to take my kiddos there when they were young on our way to mount trashmore on Saturdays. Thanks!
If you've never had a gyro and fries here, can you really say you've experienced a gyro? I didn't think so.This is a must when in Cedar Rapids. Where else can you go for great good than a building with a plane on the roof?
