Nice looking restaurant on the inside but ghetto customer service. Nobody greeted me or acknowledged me when I walked in. They all just stared at me from the kitchen . I’m guessing the little girls who were sitting there were relatives of the people on the kitchen. I asked for help they said I had to walk in and ask for help . Like what ?? Like I have to walk in the kitchen and ask for service haha just crazy . When I did a lady came over rolled her eyes at me and asked what I need . I asked for three different things off the menu and I was told they were all out and out of the 20-30 food items on the menu they only had two available. Rude customer service , never will I go there again. Yikes. Definitely go to I Love FuFu in Iowa city you won’t regret it !
This is not common food in the United States but it should be! Visit here. They use a lot of spice. My favorite is the casava leaf soup! Amazing! They make everything fresh. They do use great ingredients we may not be use to, but it will quickly relize how it's your favorite and has been missing your whole life! HATS OF TO THE CHEF!
Amazing! They really make you feel like family when you come to eat here. Portions are huge. You could easily split one dish between two people. Cedar Rapids is so lucky to have this new gem!
My husband and I get takeout from this restaurant frequently. I love the tilapia and rice, very generous servings!
Loved it! I’ve never had West African food before and I am so grateful Tee’s has brought this food to Cedar Rapids. Fufu was so filling and the stew with it had so many rich delicious flavors! Can’t wait to come back.
I ordered the fufu & soup and my wife had the chuck rice & gravy. Such delicious flavors with just the right amount of spice! As other reviewers have noted, staff is friendly and portions are generous. The leftover chuck rice & gravy made for an excellent lunch. (There really was enough for two meals!) If you've never tried West African cuisine before, you must give it a try!

The cassava leaf with rice was delicious - almost kind of smoky from the combination of fish/beef/chicken. The portion was gigantic and I was left with more than I was able to eat. The hot sauce was also great, and Tee was very kind and helped me understand the menu. Thank you so much, I can't wait to come back!
Legit food! Like others have said, the portions are huge, so prepare to split a plate or take some home. Very friendly staff, and a great place to try something new.
