The only time this place seems to be reasonably well is during actual lunch and dinner hours. The buffet quality is definitely not what it used to be and they seem to have done away with some items. Really getting tired of playing guess what pizza it is. They did away with labeling them which causes a lot more waste than you realize. The only real draw for me and many people I know is the chicken, which is not as good as it used to be but still a good item. The change from real potato wedges to mashed potato wedges also cheapens it up. Just remember, if you go, make sure its during peak hours.
We come here about two- three times a month maybe more. We stopped in on Mother's Day they were packed so I get it. But there was literally no food the entire time we were there . So unfortunately we left hungry and well I get if your busy you'll run out but they either couldn't keep up on getting it out or just didn't have anything . But just a heads up tell people when paying Hey we are running low on food items , if we would have known we would have left instead of paying $40 for 4 small salads
Visited the Pizza Ranch on the SW side of Cedar Rapids recently. Cashier was rude, floor was disgusting, several tables sat empty with dirty dishes on them and there was no rush for the employees to restock the silverware and/or clean the floor so customers weren’t stepping on food scraps. Don’t plan on coming back for awhile.
So I'm honestly disappointed in pizza ranch. I called 4 weeks ago and reserved a party room for 30 people for my daughters birthday party and got one for 15 they double booked the room there wasn't even enough room for all my guests. They didn't have much out for food, kept running out of plates and silverware. They rushed us out. The mashed potatoes smelled like pot.... Usually have a good experience but today was a huge disappointment. I do want to say thank you to the staff member who brought me plates and forks for my guests i just wish I knew her name.
Over booked the room we had and then they rushed us out. There was not enough food on the buffet. Ran out of chicken, mashed potatoes were very dry.Our worst experience there. Usually very good place. I understand they were extremely busy tonight.
My son and I frequently go there...tonight my thoughts where not so good..there's where at least 6 people were waiting to get Pizza...I waited at least 20 minutes and there was no Pizza...no dessert was up also...we ended up leaving...I hope someone addressed this problem...it was around 5:00pm and its probably your busy time of night. And they should have more food out at this time...my thought....?????
You never know if they are going to stay open. Their Google business hours do not apply at all. Been here on 2 separate occasion where we were told the were closed or closing before their advertised hours. We no longer support pizza ranch!I Highly recommend going somewhere else!
This place has become so gross. Lack of care for the cleanliness, lack of care for the customers, lack if effort in general. For the price I can easily make a nicer dinner for my family at home surrounded by a way better group of individuals.
I enjoy this Pizza Ranch location due to it having two lines per island of the buffet except the deserts. So little wait to gey pizza, chicken, and salad at the buffet. Friendly staff and always a birthday favorite.
I love pizza ranch but here the food is under cooked, my chicken was 100% pink and there was nats flying around, also not to many drink options
