I’m new to the area and my boyfriend recommended to go to parlor city. Most of the time our ice cream is good. But this is the second time we have gotten shakes and they are straight milk. We have even called to let them know this and they won’t do anything about it.
Always fast, friendly, easy on the wallet, and tasty food! Good for dessert or a drive-thru lunch!
First time we went to Parlor City so first impressions were important! The ice cream servings were very small. The french fries were greasy. The tenderloin was greasy and small. The Pup Cup ice cream we ordered for our dog was just a dab. We asked for ketchup and didn't get any. Not impressed!
Have been eating here about 50 years. Their BBQ sandwich is the bomb and I like their ice cream better than Dairy Queen. Thank you !!
A medium peanut butter shake with chocolate ice cream and a medium Irish cream shake. They were delicious, more along the lines of a large size, and very reasonably priced.The staff are incredibly friendly and they have a drive-thru!My sole regret is not living closer to work my way through all of their various shake flavors. However, it will become a high point of any reason I may have to go to Cedar Rapids.
So many cool, delicious treats to enjoy on a hot day. Parking lot is a little tight. Better off parking in lot next door. If there is a line at the drive thru, you might get stuck for a bit. Great ice cream!
I've never had such horrible and expensive freezes from here before. literally paid for 2 large cups of vanilla ice cream that were filled 3/4 full. We will not be back.

Best frozen yogurt I've had. Cool sweet treat for hot summer days and the drive through makes it quick and easy.
Their ice cream is good, however, don't get The Freeze or anything that needs mixed. Their electric mixers causes the ice cream to taste electrical.
