Hadn't stopped to eat here in years. Now I know why. Just to hit on one problem, grandson could not chew the steak in his tacos. Let the waitress know with zero response. Asked again and she said the cook said it was the same as always. Guess tough steak is what they serve! Waitress was tipped well not her fault the food was worse than a fast food joint.
My friend and I stopped in to have lunch. We waited 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. The bar tender finally brought chips and salsa over but didn’t even ask us what we wanted to drink. The chips were straight out of a bag! YUCK!! When the waitress finally came to us we got up and left! Definitely not a good place if you can’t even be acknowledged!!!
Sorry Papa Juan's... We used to enjoy the food. We didn't visit often but in the past we always enjoyed the food even though service was slow. This time, the food was okay, the quality compared to cost wasn't the best. The service was very slow, which hadn't changed. If the place was busy I could understand the slowness, but it wasn't busy. Hope to see things improve as you've been a long time restaurant.

Great margaritas, and good food. When ordering here you must think about the food in the context of the time the recipes were written and for who it was written. I like this style of food, but I'm also not expecting it to be perfectly authentic.
OMG if you haven't tried their bread bowls you have to. I ordered my favorite broccoli cheese soup you have to try it. Heavenly

My husband had a chimichanga and I had the steak tacos. Not great at all. The only things we liked were the wait staff and the salsa. Otherwise, I would not recommend the food.
