Unbelievable service, great comfort food and a Cedar Rapids old-school diner! These places are dying off and I’m so glad this place is open. I was taken there as a little kid in the 80’s.

Try the cinnamon French toast! I ordered the Cinnamon French Toast Lumberjack: 2 perfectly poached eggs, 2 strips of crispy bacon, small sausage patty, about 3 oz. of ham, 3 round slices of French toast, potatoes $10.99. Don't judge me for wanting to try everything. My husband ordered corned beef hash (better than the canned stuff), perfect over easy eggs, potatoes, wheat toast $8.99. Potatoes were tasty, the right combo of crispy and soft. (Our waitress was good but the older blonde waitress runs around,, almost smacked into me then gave me a dirty look.) Sunny room, boring brown decor, looked fairly clean.

Consistently good food for fair price. Attentive servers keep my coffee topped off whether busy or slow time, a type of service that is hard to find anywhere else anymore, The only negatives may be for those seeking “healthy” options, they may be overwhelmed by tasty options and not notice healthy ones on the menu.

We love breakfast here, always good, always friendly, sometimes busy and crowded but they make you feel like your at home..worth going again and again....

great food at good prices, a family run establishment. lots of people are just like me- come once and quickly become a regular.

I had Mike's Shipwreck which is potatoes, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, and bacon. My wife had a burger and fries. I would definitely stop by when I'm going through Cedar Rapids IA. Excellent diner food and excellent service. They were busy but the waitress was quick and friendly. Kitchen staff were quick.

I've had lunch at this restaurant close to ten times. It's like a local mom & pop type restaurant. You see a lot of the same people in there every day. There's always a lunch special and a couple different soups. The food is usually pretty good. Only once did I get something that I didn't really enjoy. The girls serving are quick and helpful. Trish is pretty cute too! Go say hello.

Very cute family owned breakfast/lunch restaurant. Great service, great food. It’s pretty popular so arrive early.

Good food, cute little diner with that homey feel too out. Nice atmosphere, good breakfast, big portions.

Took my son to breakfast and it was fantastic. My shipwreck was so good and my sons country fried steak was good too. Our service was fantastic and we watch our waitress help an elderly man to his car and even carried his tea. We will return to this place. That small town feel.
