I have heard about LP Street foods so many times. It started with my wife showing me pics of igloos for a unique experience they were offering. Today we were close by and decided to try it out.Customer serviceWe were greeted and seated pretty quickly. Our waiter checked in with us in a couple of minutes and advised us on her favorites. Thus one of the reasons I ordered the Gyro.Location setting feelThe location has a good bit of parking in the front, street, and backside of the establishment. When you look out from the front, you can see they have a pretty large patio where they offer some of the menu items and have specific times they start serving food. Dogs are welcome on the patio :)!LP Street Foods is a bit of a louder location; we thought it perfect for having the kids along :).FoodI love that they make different types of foods from all over the globe, and it seems they do a pretty darn good job.Chimichurri steak and gritsThis dish was pretty good when it comes to taste; the steak was ordered medium rare and came out that way but was quite chewy (hoping and thinking that was a one-off, the meat quality looked great).GyroI loved the Gyro, and I think next time, I will ask for a side of the tzatziki sauce. The meat itself comes directly from a fresh cone they have in the back and was terrific!Chicago DogIt was a quality hot dog. It was HUGE, really was a foot long; the boys split that, and it was served with two buns due to length, so that worked out perfectly.RamenI like the dish's flavor and the overall taste of the Ramen. It's a must try place!! Been here on several occasions.. everything we've tried on the menu has been great, drinks..great. Fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable staff that works hard at making this place wonderful!!! Fun atmosphere and decor inside and outdoor patio that's just as comfortable as inside. Looking forward to our next visit back to CR and LP Street Food!! Bravo ?
I had not been since they remodeled. The booths are bigger which is great! The prices were a little steep ($80 for three of us with 1 drink with alcohol and the others were soda) but it was fun and the menu was different than most local places. We will definitely be back.
Heard great things before about LP Street Food and wanted to give it a try. Nicely cooked steak, and good quality for a flat iron. I don’t usually eat my steak with steak sauce but it was there house made so I have it a try and it was worth it. The Parmesan asparagus was great and I was able to try a few house made hot sauces for my walking taco which were probably the best I’ve had in town. Kind of a loud environment but the service was good and my girlfriend and I enjoyed date night!
Great vegetarian options. The loaded tots were to die for. Happy hour 3-6 every day with 2 for 1 beers on tap. Will definitely be back!
Such a fun environment! The food is creative and outstanding. Unique drink menu but guaranteed tasty. The outdoor patio area is a huge draw, especially if you can enjoy one of their shakes! This is absolutely a favorite and a common recommendation when people are in town visiting.
My girlfriend has been begging me to go to LP - Street Food since she went with a group of friends.Even with the bar set high, I was pleasantly surprised by the food:1) The hummus was absolute peak freshness.2) Flavors were strong in all dishes which earned them bonus points.3) The tater tots were perfectly crispy and did not have a freezer-burn feeling or taste that I otherwise would have expected.I would recommend 5/5 for a date or a chat with a friend or even a solo beer. I will definitely go again soon.
I would have given it 5stars except for the fact that for some reason a good old fashion hamburger must not be considered “street food”?The food service the atmosphere is exceptional if not excellent!the food is definitely delicious and most if not all of everything is made in house. My friend enjoyed Beef skewers with pineapple while I opted for what is considered a popular choice : Gyro sandwich and enhanced it with some peppers that they offer on another sandwich with side of tater tots.
We've been twice. Cute atmosphere, servers are super friendly.I had the gyro the first time. It was delicious. Second round it was Taco Tuesday. They served it in a bowl. The flavors were just bursting! So delicious. It had some heat to it, but it wasn't enough to make me regret it.Will definitely go back.
Great Find! Went there first thing when they opened for brunch today. Wish they had cleaned better from the night before, but the food was amazing! Portions were decent. They should have an option to add extra portions. Will definitely be back.
