Ok haven't been here in about 10 years.Tonight we waisted $100 on carry out pizzas.I could have spent $10 at Wal-Mart on tombstone frozen pizza and had a better experience. The people were great but like I said the pizza was the worst we have had in Cedar Rapids.....ever.Zero stars would be a more honest assessment but zero isn't allowed.
It is nice that not everything has to change. It was as good today as 20 years ago. One of my wife and I favorite places as younger couple and still good food and unique atmosphere. I recommend the tenderloin, wife really likes the pizza. The staff gave us great service even during a busy time.
Very interesting atmosphere. The walls are all black and there's no windows. But they still keep the area very well lit so it isn't dark. The food is pretty good. Not the best pizza I've had but far from the worst. The staff are all very friendly as well. We'll definitely go there again sometime.
I have been going here since I was 16 years old and will be 55 in a few months. I have NEVER had a bad experience there on anything. The food is amazing; they have a nice large selection of appetizers, main entrees, and of course, their pizzas are to die for. I love, love, love the pizza here. I can't say enough good about Leonardos.
I love this place! I keep waiting for Joe Pesci to come around the corner and shoot Spider in the foot. It has old school mafioso appeal and decor. The food is fantastic. You can't go wrong with any sandwich and the taco pizza is top shelf!
They are a Cedar Rapids staple for a reason. They just preform well every time. Server was cheerful and friendly, food was good, and I love the fact that their Cherry Pepsi has real marishino cherries floating in it
We were on a trip, and when we got there, they had a slight delay.. they weren’t happy with the pizza they made for us, and wanted to remake it. That’s great attention to detail, and actually caring what the customer receives. I would recommend the service, and food without question, and only wished they shipped their pizza’s..Thank you for the great experience!!
When entering into this place it is unclear whether they simply haven't updated their decor, or, they intentionally bought a set from a seventies gangster film. Either way, it's a delightful experience and you expect one of the Corleones to pop in at any second. Many people make a big fuss about the pizza here and it looked pretty good. To be honest, I had polished off a basket of their out of this world fried mushrooms and didn't have room left to hit the pizza.
Some of the best pizza I've had in a long long time. Very cool interior of the restaurant. Booths and tables both and a full bar. Woo hoo !!
Just moved to town and wanted some pizza. Leonardo’s is right down the road so we had high hopes. I ordered online and apparently they didn’t get my order so hubby had to wait30/40 minutes for our pizzas to be ready. Pizzas had absolutely no taste! Tasted like cardboard honestly. Was pricey too, about $40 for 2 lg pizzas. Would not recommend!
