i’ll probably go back but last night something was off and the only employee i have respect for is the bouncer. a) the bartenders are out of their minds… do the math b) the bartenders make up prices to get extra tips c) the bus boy cleaning tables needs to learn how to do his job without disrespecting patrons, and then acting like it doesn’t matter never had such a problem ever… do better ?

We stopped around 630 pm on a friday. We were downtown using VEO scooters and wanted to find a place to have a drink and a quick bite. Found this new place and walked in. It was insanely loud and there was a huge party of about 10 plus people right in walkway of the front door who were obviously overserved and heckling me right as I walked in. We found a table and sat down to wait about 5 to 10 minutes for anyone to notice us. Granted the service was great afterwards but this party kept getting louder and screaming. Yet the bar kept serving them. Another mother and her 3 daughters walked in and had to move several table away from them as they were so loud. Granted they were only matching nightclub volume of the music playing. The beer selection here is vague and almost all dark ir IPA's so i ordered a domestic . Our food came out fast but honestly it's not worth the price as you could make most of this at home. Very little imagination. I think this is a "dive" bar with a identity crisis. What was ultimately the point I refused to come back is when the manager clearly came up to us and asked if the food was alright and we didn't complain but did nothing to stop these drunk fueled party guests or calm them down for other patrons who were clearly annoyed. Not worth the headache or lack of irresponsible serving to go here. I'll be honestly shocked if I ever go there again.

Absolute same and different in the exact ways you want it. New be conventional meals with more of what you and less of the stuff that is not crowd friendly. It is just such a breath of fresh air for the downtown vibe

Cute little dive bar with an immense amount of character! Great atmosphere and friendly staff!

Service was good. Not a lot of choices on the menu. I had the Cod and it was supreme. Would recommend if you want Cod, 4 big pieces.

Always a great atmosphere!! Good on tap beers!!! This place has quickly became a favorite of mine!! Also good food!

Great 2 for 1 happy hour starting at 3pm with a number of IPAs and ales on tap, including several Iowa beers. Also the spam fries are a unique appetizer if you have a large group to share with.

The “boneless wings” were misleading as they were actually chicken nuggets with cold sauce served on the side. I gave them a try anyways and had a “chewy” in my first bite. ?

Interesting place to have a few drinks and dinner. Truly unique menu very much worth trying.

The fish and chips are delicious. Get some of the French onion dip for the chip it is great.
