Ordered carry out. Food quality is absolutely abysmal. Got an order of sesame chicken and their most popular item, Empress chicken Duluxe, where a mixture of over cooked and not cooked enough. Chicken egg roll and crab rangoons were miniature sized, probably a third of what you’d expect to receive for the price. Overall, I’m rather upset to have spent so much money for such little quality. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had.
During a Feb. 18 visit, an inspector cited therestaurant for storing food in commercial plasticbags that were not food-grade quality; for storingsauces, soups, butter and other food products inuncovered buckets; for holding tempura chicken at57 degrees inside a cooler; for keeping ready-to-eat foods inside plastic bags with no date markings (a repeat violation); failing to monitor the internal temperature of food; thawing frozen chicken in standing water; failing to clean the "excessive buildup of food debris" on the floor of a walk-in freezer; and failing to post the most recentinspection report for customers for customers toreview. Also somebody literally backed into my car in the parking my lot here and drove off.
The general chicken lunch special was good
Very well priced and the food there is really good
I got the house fried rice and chicken wings. Let’s just say I’m from New York where the good chinese food is at ???. This was not it
Ordered coconut chicken lunch combo today because for some reason that sounded good. Chicken main dish was amazing; the sauce looks a little risqué but it was damn good. Only knock was the fried rice I got with it. I know fried rice is generally reused rice and it wasn't bad, but it had kind of a "your fryer oil needs changing" taste to it. (I know fried rice isn't literally fried in a fryer but this is the best way I could describe the taste) Overall would gladly order again but may try the lo mein instead.
Ordered house special fried rice and order of wings. Wings still had feathers on them and The rice was not done and getting stuck in my teeth not to mention probably 10 pieces of meat through the entire dish. Called the owner to inform her rice was still hard and she wanted to argue with me and tell me it wasn’t $17 best part of the meal was my dr. Pepper. Used to order all the time but has definitely gone down hill and for some reason I keep giving them chances but I’m done.
I ordered their fried chicken wings with pork fried rice extra spicy, and it was so good that I ordered it again, and again, and again. Jim the owner, always makes amazing food that has great price. I'd really recommend giving it a try!UPDATE: 4 years later, the fried chicken wings w. porked fried rice extra spicy is still amazing. Seems to be run by a nice local family. Support small local businesses in your area! Cheap & Tasty!
I ordered here on doordash and the food was AMAZING, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Ordered carry out. Food was definitely piping hot but the quality is absolutely abysmal. General tso chicken which i ordered VERY spicy - was next to flavorless, more than overdone, stringy, and fatty. Chicken friend rice was totally bland. Chicken egg roll was nothing but cabbage and the sweet and sour sauce is very thin and flavorless. On top of it, it's overpriced. So if you like bland low quality expensive garbage food this is the place for you.
