Small cafe. Clean, friendly staff, great breakfast. Went back for lunch and it was great too! My new favorite spot in Cedar Rapids!
Website says they open at 5:30. Google says they open at 6:30. Waited until 6:35 and nobody's here. Looks like it could be a good place to eat, but no idea what their hours are...
This place never disappoints! Service is stellar and the food is fantastic! Serving portions are perfect and the prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!

I have never received this type of rudeness/unprofessionalism from them in the last two years since we moved up here. Today my boyfriend went to get a to go order and the waitress told him it was up to the cook if they did them or not. The cook looked my bf in the eye then told the waitress no they weren’t doing to go orders (he didn’t want to congest the orders) even though there was only 2 tables filled… plus the last two times we have been in there since employment changed, food hasn’t been as good, more blan and the employees are not as polite and professional. This place has gone down quite a bit
My husband used to go to the Breakfast House with a friend from work who has passed away… I am never up for new places but it was Black Friday and I was tired and hungry… what a surprise!!! The waitress was awesome and food was fantastic!!! It won’t be the last time we visit!!!
We loved everything we ordered! The chicken and biscuits were a huge hit with our college son. Great portions, and delicious!
Big servings, tasty food, friendly service.
They were short staffed today and slammed but the food and service was still next level! Cannot say enough good things about this place. Best local breakfast spot in town!
