We have a mixed review. My husband ordered an omelette, which he loved. It was cooked well, came hot, as ordered, and filled the plate. Not so for me. I ordered eggs Benedict with out the ham, add spinach and tomato. Unfortunately, the poached eggs were overcooked, the hollandaise sauce was lumpy, and our waitress never came back to check on us to make it right. When we went to check out, the waitress did not apologize but DID offer to take the eggs off. By then, I felt it was too little too late. Thus the 3 stars. You decide what you will accept. Not the worst experience, but not the best for Father's day.
The food and the service were amazing. Called ahead about getting a seat and the gal on the phone said she could get us in. Asked if it was our first time and when I said yes she said sure come on over. Super friendly. Got there 10 minutes later and all I said was we needed a table for 2 and she was like you just called right? I‘ve got a table right here for you. Was perfect. Can’t say enough about how friendly Everyone was. Food was amazing and prices were great for how big the plates were.
We love to travel and find great places to have breakfast! This place was off the charts! My husband and I had the skillets and our kids had pancakes! So delicious! The service and atmosphere were also on point! They were so kind! Highly recommend!
If you're looking to sit down at catch up with people then this is the spot. It seemed like this was the local hangout for all of the retirees. We were fortunate enough to get a table right away, but everything else took a little while. It’s a very kind and relaxing at home feel kind of atmosphere, so much so it looked as though the wait staff was wearing pajamas. The food is mediocre, but comes out in large portions served by a friendly staff. If you’re looking for a quick breakfast, then this isn’t the place. But if you’re got time to kill and are looking for somewhere to try, then give this place a try.
This is a great local restaurant. I don't know of a better omelette in town. All of the servers are friendly and helpful. The hot beef and burgers are great. You can't go wrong here if you are looking for some comfort food. Great place to eat!
Sweetest little restaurant! We eat here almost every Saturday! Not only is the food delicious but I have never experienced a kinder staff. Every single person is outgoing and so friendly! They really care about their customers and what they do! This group is a real blessing to our family! ❤️And did I mention the food is so good? Oh, so good!
We eat here weekly (or more). Food is dependably good. But the real reason to go is the friendly family that runs the place. They care about your experience and will make you feel right at home! Try the sweet potato waffle fries with brown sugar dipping sauce, is not on the menu, but it's makes an amazing dessert.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed eating lunch here so much! The food was amazing! And the owner and staff were fabulous!!! Definitely a place worth visiting if you are in Cedar Rapids! Thanks a lot from the Kansas City Guys!!!!
