The cookies are amazing, but their customer service has been terrible as of late. Honestly considering finding a different go-to junk food store if this continues
Ordered a 6 pack of cookies and some strawberry milk that was never delivered. Website told me it had been delivered and thus I spent 20 minutes walking around trying to find where they could have left the cookies. Got no text message or call saying it was delivered and only caught on that it was supposedly delivered by refreshing the tracker multiple times. Wasted a lot of my time and never ended up getting cookies. Did get a refund after calling twice. Would not recommend.
I’ve never reviewed anything but wow did I have a weird experience with insomnia tonight. Ordered 6 cookies for asap delivery. Waited 2 hours and they still hadn’t come. Called the store, was on hold for several minutes. A very nice person answered the phone and then put me on hold again to check the order status. Was then told that my order was ready, but they were waiting on the driver—20-30 more minutes. I wanted to cancel at this point, but they were super nice so I decided to wait. 30 minutes later, about to call and cancel, got a text message that says my order is being sent through Uber?? Lol. Not sure if their driver up and quit or what. Probably won’t be ordering again but rated 2 stars for the kind employee on the phone, and the cookies were fine.
Friends and I went for some cookies and after the apparent owner yelled at her trainee for no reason, she caught an attitude with my friend. My friend was trying to take a picture and was told that was “completely unacceptable” and that the behavior wasn’t okay and yelled at her. And even after my friend apologized, she kept the rude demeanor after. This left my friend so distraught the only thing “completely unacceptable” was the manager. Worst service I have ever had. Earlier she told me and another friend we couldn’t sit down yet there was another customer sitting down at a table. This customer service behavior is unacceptable.
I walked in tonight to purchase cookies, I needed to use the restroom so I headed for the door labeled restroom. The lady behind the counter said we don’t have a public restroom. So I went to order a cookie off the menu, and the lady responded with attitude that we don’t have that cookie. So then I went to pay cash for my wife’s cookies…. And the lady refused cash a legal tender in the United States…… the worst service I’ve ever had!
Fresh hot cookies every time, friendly service and open late! What more could you ask for.
Insomnia Cookies ......I can't give a higher rating because I personally only had my daughter pick some up for my son at UNI in Cedar Falls. They apparently don't read directions well when you have comments with your order. I specifically asked them NOT to duplicate any cookies in the half dozen box we got for her, and the rest were to all go into the other box for our son. They obviously didn't pay attention. I also notice the cookies aren't very big. There is a place called Cookies Etc., in Ames, Iowa, and THOSE cookies are super delicious! And large too! Will not be ordering from Insomnia Cookies again. My guess is that they are as expensive as they are due to overhead costs, and if they were absolutely delicious and larger, AND the service was good, I'd consider it, but....come on, is it really that difficult to put six different cookies in a box when at least 6 to 8 varieties were ordered?
Omg the peanut butter cookie was so good it was warm and gooey and yummy! I also just the ice cream with cookie butter, so good!
I literally couldn't live without this I'm not joking they are so warm and delicious
Cookies were very good, and the staff is so friendly!
