After living in the Chicago burbs most of my life, I was super excited when Dunkin came to Cedar Falls. Since then, the excitement has worn off. Coffee and donuts are fine. Any other food is generally room temp and nothing special.Service is where they really struggle. Ill walk into the store to try and get past the line of cars going around the building for the drive through, and wait in average 5 minutes for someone to even come to the counter. They are super slow, not attentive at all, and generally don't care about people waiting forever. It's a Dunkin, im not looking for 5 star restaurant service. I'm just looking to wait less than 10 minutes total to get a coffee when I'm the only person in line.
Since the last and only review for the local Dunkin is from 2017, let me enlighten you. Our Dunkin is *terrible* and that’s putting it lightly. It’s hard to believe they’re still open. There are so many donut shops in this town now, please do yourself a favor and don’t give any of your hard earned money to DD. Aside from comical service, we got a dozen assorted today before 8am and 8 of them were plain glazed (I’m sorry what) and not a single donut in the box was worth eating. Even my toddler said “this is not yummy!” One jelly-filled with what appeared to be jelly on the outside but literally none on the inside. Also a box of 10 munchkins that were totally inedible and an iced coffee I dumped out before I was even out of the driveway. Ugh it’s so bad. $19 for that! What a total disappointment of a stop for donuts. We will stick with one of the local shops (skip Hurts, go to Icon, thank me later) for donuts that actually taste good!
This was the worst job with the worst managers who do not care at all about their costumers, I hear them talk fake every day and talk about the employees as they are little kids. I got fired recently for telling a girl to not come back because she had a man hit me several times, and I get fired because this place picks favorites. They are not sanitized, they NEVER wear gloves on sandwich station, your drinks will all most likely be wrong, and the manager and just sits in the back and expect employees to do all of the things she would never do for the company. If you ever go back to dunkin make sure to tell Patty Galle to get to work.
do not pickup from doordash here or any other app. Long wait times and rude employees.
One of the slower (but also always busy) Dunkin's I've been to across the country but the taste is always on point where I've found some others can fluctuate. Will continue to go here
BEST CHAMOMILE TEA EVER!!!!! Most workers are polite and helpful. There is always a rotten egg.
Dear Dunkin’ Donuts, this is highway robbery. After taking out the ice that you went and change to the very heavy thick ice this is the product that is left. About a cup you are ripping your customers off. I work very hard for my money and don’t appreciate it. Most likely you will not be getting my business anymore.
I really like Dunkin' overall as a place to get coffee and a breakfast snack. Food quality is consistent and the staff friendly. They also do a great job of quickly getting through long drive thru lines. My only knock is that I think their black coffee could be a bit stronger for better overall flavor. If in season, I highly recommend the pumpkin donut holes.
Mornings this place is packed to the gills and you can expect to wait a bit, but the manager in charge ensures everything is done correctly. Afternoons, on the other hand, a bunch of employees stand around jaw jacking and it's like pulling teeth to get a dozen donuts. They are usually out of half of the variety by 1 pm.
I'm grateful they have a drive thru.
