what a delight to find a pancake house that is 5☆s in every way, service, surroundings, pleasant staff all round, fast & top notch food down the line. Love the remodel. The new ceiling and lighting brightened and refreshed the whole restaurant. The new booths and seating are great. So many good changes. We had the bacon cheese burger special (so huge, moist and delicious) and chicken breast sandwich (equally delicious and moist). All the sides were great. We had so much food that we could barely eat it all. Our server was very good and we didn't have to wait for anthing. The prices were very affordable. We loved and miss Mickey's but give this new restaurant just as many stars. Highly recommend this place.
asked for 2 kid drinks received and charge for larges...ordered county potatoes with cheese.. side of bacon and cup of gravy 4 my bacon I got bacon the country potatoes with my cup of gravy on top I guess and no cheese... first visit although the food was good the service was not very likely 2 not return
On a trip back home to Dubuque, we stopped here for a quick bite. We figured it would be good as our many drives by it, their parking lot always had a number of cars in it.Their menu had a fair amount of the usual breakfast dishes, lunch dishes you would expect to see but many items in their menu were quite unexpected surprises.My friend ordered their strawberry crepes & the were big, lots of fruit,& she said she would order them again. I decided to try their Gyro omelet; so big could have shared with my husband had he been traveling with me. Will keep the cafe on my list of favorites & plan to return whenever I'm down in Davenport or Le Claire.
