$43 for cheese curds and 2 burgers? Are you serious? The food is mediocre at best, the "servers" just glorified cashiers who don't greet you or even speak to you, let alone show kindness as much as a smile. Total joke.

I had high expectations. My burger was very pinkish almost red when I had asked for medium well, my brothers was done right. I had to ask for ketchup and I was going to ask for mustard but decided not to. For the cost I would have liked better service and thinking about stuff like that.
Rather meh. At best, it was on par with fast food. Except someone told them if they want to be a restaurant make sure people wait 45 minutes for their food. Two tables of two were all that was there, we ordered first, and it took 45 minutes before we received our burgers.Do yourself a favor, head to McD's or Ben's for a better burger in just minutes.
$40 for two people to have lunch?? At that price at least add flavor. If you're going to ask someone how they want their patty cooked then try and get it somewhat close.
Visited at 5PM on a Sunday when there were two other tables occupied in the entire place. Was told by the bartender (no other staff to be seen) to sit wherever we liked. Waited 15 minutes so I went to (again) the only person I saw working as a bartender and asked to have her send a waitress over. Waited another 15 minutes and nobody showed up, so we left. Pretty pathetic. I would not recommend - too many other great places in Ankeny to support this place. Don’t waste your time here

This was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Whoever is the gm should be fired and the staff needs a total overhaul of training and work on getting orders right and out in a timely manner. The owner of this establishment needs to really do an extensive walk through and see how horrible this place is. I will not be going back until it is under new management
This place is lucky that when they get the food right that it's good but unfortunately more often than not it's wrong or poor quality. It's really quite incredible how inconsistent it is, I'd say work on it but they've been open for nearly 10 years. Stick to groceries cause outside of that Hyvee is incapable of consistent quality.
I never can get enough of wahlburgers. I enjoy the burgers that I get excited about. My wife really enjoys the plant base. Either way you have to try the delicious sauce served with the BBQ burger. Nicely done.
