We had their ice cream truck at our wedding and the experience was amazing! Not only was the ice cream great, but the workers were so nice and easy to work with. We had some rain at the wedding that cut into the hour that we had the truck reserved, but they stayed late to serve our guests and make sure that everyone was happy. Very stress-free, would highly recommend!
Love this place! There is always a good variety of icecream flavors to try and I've yet to walk away with something less than delicious. It's got that locally owned icecream shop feeling to it, which makes sense considering it's a locally owned icecream shop
The ice cream is so good! The flavors are handmade and they put lots of toppings in each. I have not had such great ice cream in a long time. Very creamy and smooth and full of flavor! Lots of options for everyone, including gluten free, sugar free, etc.
Really great ice cream. I’ve tried a couple other local ice cream places around Ankeny and the outside scoop wins every time. I am especially fond of the coconut, the almond joy, the maraschino cherry… Are all my favorites.
I had the truck come out for our wedding last weekend and they were wonderful! The ice cream was delicious and the staff was sweet and professional. 10/10 would recommend.
Very expensive ice cream, but nice decor. Some of the ice cream I tried was ok, others were good. Did not enjoy the Christian music being played, feels like I’m contributing to one of those religious cult run establishments aimed at converting younger generations.
The first thing I feel I should say is this is the place where you indulge yourself. The amount of attention to detail is I'd obvious by the offerings. White Chocolate Raspberry, Goat Cheese, freshly made waffle cones, half baked Monster Cookie Dough, etc. You don't find these any just in any of your usual places. You also would be hard pressed to find the Grundea, this is an overload to your senses. This is the stuff of legends, like the homemade whipped cream and brownies. Trust me you won't regret it except forgoing your diet. This is decadence at it's highest level.
This is a very cute place and it's location is awesome. So much to walk to if you want to shop. The ice cream was very delicious. Clean dining room. They use biodegradable bowls. That is awesome to see from an establishment. Employees like what they do and it shows.

Didn't care for it. Asked for a waffle cone. Ice cream scoop was planted on the top so when the worker handed it to me her thumb poked a hole in the cone which made it challenging to eat. I think that waffle cone in particular was just defective. Found the triple berry sorbet to be mainly ice crystals and fall apart too easily. The person I was with found the same. Tried a cookie. It tasted stale (hard as a rock) and not anywhere near as delicious as it looked. Pluses: the service was excellent, plenty of selection, everything was quite flavorful (even if I didn't like the flavors), and the seating was very family-friendly or friendly for bringing a sports team.
