Ordered linguine with white clam sauce and a tossed salad as a side. The tossed salad was bigger than expected and tasted fresh. The server brought over fresh homemade bread and it was heavenly. After a short wait our order was brought to the table piping hot. I definitely recommend the linguine with white clam sauce. Large portion, great sauce/broth. Big chunks of clam.We will definitely be coming back.

Most importantly, delicious food. The ingredients are fresh and the portions are generous. I have eaten in the restaurant and ordered for pickup and the customer service is always excellent. Their red sauce dishes are very good, but I personally am obsessed with any cream sauce dish. There are many restaurants in Ankeny, but this one is a must.
We love Portofinos!!! The salmon dishes are my favorites!!! Great soups and yummy bread!!! We're close, so we walk there often!!!
It smelled wonderful when we walked in. We both got a sampler platter, very delicious and cheesy. We also got rolls and butter that were also delicious. Very good service too.
First time here and I could tell (or should I say smell) as soon as I walked in, it was going to be delish. Bruschetta to start, the Lasagna and Chicken Parmigiana for entrees and cannolis for dessert.
We had a wonderful dinner tonight. The food was delicious and priced fair. Our server, Jacqueline, was very attentive and kind. The hostess, my apologies I forgot her name, was very welcoming. It was our first time in and look forward to returning.
A friend of mine went here, watched someone touch their salads and bread without gloves or washing their hands. Then told them that she didn’t want the food and was uncomfortable eating because of the poor hygiene. My friend and her parter were told they could leave, and on their way out the door they were chased down and forced to pay for the food they never even received. She attempted to write this on google but the owner blocked her and her partner. Which is what will probably happen to me too. But hoping someone sees this absolute trash service and chooses not to spend their money on this restaurant.
