Caught this place just driving through and we're glad we did. The nice lady at the register gave us some great suggestions since it was our first time getting to try a maid-rite. Ended up going with the maid right with cheese with all of the traditional toppings on how they were made and some onion rings. She brought us some of the dipping sauce for the onion rings which was fantastic. The maid rite hit the spot and was excellent. Onion rings were crispy and flavorful. Service was fast and very friendly. Dining room was clean and all of the food was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone stopping through Iowa.

I order a hot a fries plan took them two time just to get the order right. and while i was there they got four other orders woung and just really bad servies but the food over all was good i would have to say
Being from Muscatine where Maid-Rite began I was a bit underwhelmed with what I was hoping for. The food was okay and the service was okay. But the original is was way better.
12/23/21 I ordered delivery by door dash, service was great. My order was Mega-rite with extra meat (shared). Flavor was excellent but the big bun was soaked in grease. Couldn't even pick it up, it fell apart. Ended up eating with a fork and knife.That's not a sandwich to me. Also, ordered the guinea grinder with Graziano sausage. Very good sandwiches. Great flavor and worth the price.
We ordered a bacon maid rite with lettuce and mayo, a deluxemade rite, both with cheese, and 2 fries. There were pickles on the bacon maid rite, no lettuce, no mayo. Thank God I saw them before I had an allergic reaction, but due to the pickle juice, I had to eat only the very undercooked fries. Definitely will not go back to this location.
Okay, I posted my very first experience with this location had to provide one star should have been 0. My second try, always give Benefit of doubt always more than one or two workers. Wow, another $28. Waisted! Returned home fries were tossed in the paper bag first, bottom of the bag without being placed in any type of container, o’ yea then order of onion rings tossed in the exact same, o’ yea then all 6 sandwiches (received not as ordered although paid extra) on top. I pulled, I TRIED! to pull paper bag out of plastic & yep! Total mess! I will not try and receive any type of compensating, I WILL NEVER RETURN! I highly do not recommend even trying this location save your money!
