I haven’t had a bad dish yet. I particularly like the potstickers.
I was new to Ankeny and tried every Asian cuisine around. This is hands down the best for flavor: brown sauce and crab Rangoon is how I make my judgement. Their sauce is incredible.Ordering online for carryout is easy and the money goes directly to the business instead of a 3rd party delivery service.Get their Mongolian beef, you won't regret it!
Great food and service. The Teriyaki plate is my favorite. Potstickers are delicious as well.
Their stir fry dishes like Kong Pao Chicken and Mongolian Beef (attached) have always been consistently good. Food was hot and stir fried well instead of some other places that tasted more like steamed foods. Place was clean and lady at front was polite.
This was the first time that I had been to Lucky Bamboo Asian Cuisine and was very happy with our order/ food ? and will go back and hopefully they are consistent with their food. At was a little concerned when I arrived because they had some difficulties with finding my order I thought about leaving but after paying for my order on line I thought that I should wait. Lol ! Any way I will go back in the near future. As always I will keep you posted on things.
Top notch food, super clean dine in space and quick. What more can you ask for?! Will be back for sure.
Awful enough for me to take the time to leave this review! Everything tastes like it slid right out of a can. No flavor, no real effort made in the dishes at all. Seems like one of those restaurants just doing the bare minimum. Quantity over quality. I am surprised at all the 5 star reviews, with so much competition in the restaurant business and prices going up, where you spend your money has to really be worth it. You can tell when a business is trying and if they just had a bad/off day, and in those cases you keep returning but I don't really see that here.
Stupidly long extra wait time when online ordering. Waited an extra 15mins on top of expected wait time. Still didn't receive my food after 15mins of waiting inside. Had to cancel my order because of terrible service.
Worst Asian restaurant I have ever had. Stopped while driving through the city ended up throwing most of our food away after feeling sick from the food. Highly processed food worse then panda Express.
Food was great as usual. Egg drop soup might be a new recipe but still tastes good.
