Service is excellent. Relaxed atmosphere. Food is cooked where you can see it. Owner came to the table to make sure the food was good and being our first time explained the food. All was excellent
THIS IS AN AMAZING FAMILY RUN RESTAURANT!!!!The food is FRESH & DELICIOUS !!We r traveling across America and was camping in Iowa and decided to try this restaurant. THE steak & lamb dishes with risotto and Greek salad was mouth watering. It was so good we went back the next night and had the salmon. Watch the ladies cook right in front of you and the service by Stefan was wonderful.Dont forget dessert!!Go and ENJOY!!Should be rated 10stars!!
The best service and food I’ve had in a long time. The gluten free menu is bomb. You want something refreshing and delicious, try this place!!!
We were visiting Iowa State Univ and stayed in Ankeny for a couple of nights...and found a "gem" of a local restaurant...with great food and super service...Croatian based lineage...and a "good value for money". We ended up going there both nights we were in town...yummy.
The food was absolutely amazing, we will definitely be going back for take-out!We stopped in for dinner and we’re told that we should have made a reservation (5pm on a Saturday) but the website never mentioned reservations and they don’t use any kind of booking service. So they sat us next to the entrance at a broken table, meanwhile the restaurant was only 25-50% full the entire time we ate.
Had a great lunch here. Would recommend any of the gyros as we tried the beef and falafel ones and accompanied them with the Mediterranean fries. Could use a little bit more seating room for a bustling lunch time, but still had a great experience with good service.

Ordered pick, Mediterranean steak and lamb. Timing was perfect as food came off the grill moments after arriving. Steak was flavorful,tender and juicy, with a generous portion. Risotto & Veges for side, also tasty and worth getting. Lamb was also delicious. This place is gem, with great people tending to your every need. Recommend this gem to all our friends and we frequent them regularly.
