Everything I’ve tried here is amazing. My personal favorites are sweet and sour chicken for entree and plum blossom for an adult beverage. Egg rolls and crab rangoons cooked to perfection. Love this place.
Great lunch option with a good sized portion of cashew chicken with a big scoop of fried rice, crab Rangoon, and cup of egg drop soup for $9. Best I have had in Ankeny.
Our group was surprised the rating isn't higher!! We had excellent servers, great atmosphere, delicious food, yummy fun drinks! Plus, you cannot beat the prices???
I got the Sesame Shrimp and Crab Rangoon. It was crispy and the sauce was perfect. The Crab Rangoon could have been fresher, but it was during the lunch hour, and they come with the lunch specials, so I assume they just make a bunch ahead of time to expedite the lunch orders. Love this place! Great for the price, too.
Good and fast service. The staff are always really friendly. I only go for dinner but I love the crab rangoons and my husband loves the crispy duck.
They deliver to us (even being across town). Their service is prompt. The food is delicious and hot everytime we order. Great find
My BY FAR favorite Chinese restaurant. Excellent taste and fresh. Love the owner. He has been delivering ro me for years as well. The waitress is also very nice too. I highly recommend eating here.
Just awful. Great service but like a 1960s Chinese restaurant coming to America. Felt 80 eating here and the plating was dated and food came out way too fast
We recently discovered China Moon and wish we would have sooner— it’s delicious, prices are reasonable, and the order is always ready in 20 minutes.
Ordered dinner online on Xmas day. Food was good, order was correct. The only issue was the longer than expected wait - website said 20 minutes, actual was 45.However, the reason I mention the wait is not because I'm upset. They were busy, it was a holiday most restaurants are closed, etc. No reason to be upset. The reason I mention the wait is in hopes that the business owner will learn about the thousands of dollars in lost revenue the wait caused. I counted more than 20 unanswered phone calls in the 25 minutes or so I waited in the lobby. Assuming that most of those were people calling to make an order or verify the restaurant was open, that's maybe $1000? in lost revenue. If you assume that staff ignored calls for a couple of hours, that's several thousand in lost revenue.I also noticed one walk in that saw the wait and turned wrong and left. The reasons for the wait, other than being busy:- not many places to put food waiting for pickup- slow credit card machine- bad system for organizing pick up orders- no obvious signage for customers waiting to pick up, so customers looking for a table know there's no dining room waitIf the restaurant removed the display case in the dining room with a big bookcase with room for to go orders, there's also room to place signage and facilitate easier pick up.Finally, by investing in a better credit card machine, the desk staff can earn more tips.
