Came in expecting authentic Mexican food but as soon as I ordered an horchata and was told they didn’t have any I knew it wasn’t going to be good. I asked for agua de Jamaica and they didn’t have that either which I think are staples in any Mexican restaurant. This is a step above Taco Bell but definitely not authentic Mexican food. Now if you want burgers and fries, this is are pretty good spot for those.

We really like this place. It seems like there's a new Mexican restaurant appearing constantly in Ankeny. This one has been here a while and the food is FAST and good and consistent. Highly recommend.
I’ve been eating here for over 20 years and it’s always stayed the same warm, welcoming restaurant with memorably delicious food. My favorite dish would include the fish tacos and I always double on their rice since it’s so yummy. Nothing but good memories here.
This experience is not a good one. The service was cold and not professional. I told him that the food was too hot to eat and we wanted about. He brought the box with the check. He did not want to know what the problem was. I would not recommend.

Service was great but the food was mediocre. The beef taco tasted like a Mexican sloppy Joe which was a strange experience.

We were a big crowd - 30 people more or less. Staff was friendly and professional. Food was good. We would go back again.
