Enjoyed a medium roast cup of coffee. Good flavor. Also had the croissant sausage egg and cheese. Very good. Decent amount of seating. Plugs are a precious commodity so you may struggle plugging in if you can't find those spots. Staff were friendly and offered suggestions which I do appreciate. A member in our party got the cinnamon roll pancakes and those were a rival to anything at a breakfast chain. Large portion and looked delicious but very sweet!
I love to bring my laptop and work from here while my husband is in three hours of therapy at On with Life. The atmosphere is so comfortable and inviting. I'm not even a coffee drinker but I love their Chai Latte! They also have various add-ins that are delicious and mix it up. They know my order by now and that just feels nice! They also have delicious muffins and scones as well as breakfast and sandwich items.
Would have been more stars if they would have actually gave me my food I ordered and paid for! I paid more than enough and instead of making up for my missed order they decided to comp a drink thinking that was going to make up for it? R u kidding me? First impressions are the most important-guess I won’t b coming back!!
SO AMAZING THE FOOD JS AWSOME AND I THINK YOU SHOULD GET THE NUTELLA PANCAKES AND THEY STRAWBERRY COVERED SMOOTHIE IT IS SO GOOD AND FEELS LIKE HOME :D
While they actually made my cappuccino correctly (a lot of coffee spots in DSM barely know the difference between a latte and a cap) their espresso was over-expressed and bitter. I took two sips and threw it out.

To say I'm addicted to Cafe Diem is an understatement. What keeps me coming back is the cozy vibe, crazy good food/drink menu, and the fabulous staff. They also have a great conference room for groups to use :) thank you cafe diem staff for reliably bringing joy to your customers during these uncertain times!
I love the food and nice quiet environment that is created here. I go to dmacc across the street for school. I want to come here so I can study and have a drink. But you close at SIX. You used to close at 9 like Starbucks and most libraries. So because of this Cafe Diem has lost my business. Won't be coming back until hours are extended
WOW!! Everything tastes like it was made with care. The Chai is authentic; the hash browns taste AMAZING. And even the croissants are fluffy and filling. Gorgeous interior and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return!
