Walked into the entry and was met by the smell of something similar to rodent urine, unpleasant smell for sure. Staff was nice, courteous and prompt. No complaints with the server, he did a good job. Boneless wings had some rubbery pieces and could hardly tell the difference between the two types of seasoning rubs (salt and vinegar & chipotle bbq) I got on my 16 piece. VERY minimal seasoning. So I ate my basically plain chicken nuggets, paid the tab, thanked the server and will never eat at B-Dubs again. Too hit or miss and, like this location, most of the stores are not kept up very well.
If you like wings this is the place to visit. They do not make their own salad dressing. Nachos could be better.
Stopped in tonight with the wife got seated quick...waited 15 minutes no one even acknowledged us. They sat a 6 top next to us and served them right away.. we walked out! Gave it 2 instead of one because I've eaten here before.
great service hot food. reills
Absolutely horrible, ordered through door dash over $70 and worth of food. The $12 cob salad half filled the container and barely had anything but iceberg lettuce. It was supposed to have seasoned chicken and blue cheese crumbles, we didn't get any of that. Also they didn't give us any dressing for it. I'm not blaming the dasher for the incomplete order because the bag was taped shut so they couldn't have checked it they wanted to. I called and talked to the manager and she was more interested in talking over me then listening and wasn't apologetic in the least. She offered to remake the salad but we would need to drive there to come get it. Clearly that's why I paid extra to have my food delivered because I wanted make special trip just to get the salad and ranch dressing that I ordered. The fact that your employees felt it was ok to serve that to people is shameful and is a clear representation of your inability to manage them.
Stopped by tonight to see if this place had started sucking less. This used to be one of our favorite spots, but the last 2 years things had gone so down hill that we stopped coming. To our surprise we had a very good experience tonight. Prompt, pleasant service. Food came all together, it came quickly and was well prepared. As we left, multiple people wished us a good night. It was quite a 180 difference. It was also nice to see Stofer back in the bar. We will likely try again soon!
Took my family and parents there, to say super disappointed is an understatement. Our bill would have been over $180. Half the food was cold, offered a sample of the nacho dorito sauce to see if I liked it before ordering, and then charged me for it on my receipt—but didn’t tell me about it on the front end. Charged me for an extra drink that I over looked initially and paid for! Ridiculous! Super nice but the deceivingly added charges are not ok Just tell me! I would have been ok with the $1.80–it is the point. And the extra drink??
AMAZING service and food!!! Thank you!!! Walked in the door to a smiling face and “Hi” !!! May not seem like a big deal but walked out of the Merle Hay location without acknowledgement. Came here and was drinking a cold beer AND had hot wings on my table in the same amount of time I was ignored at Merle Hay BWW.
Ordered take out at 4:30, place wasnt busy and we only ordered food for 2 people. They didn't add our fries, sauces or carrots and celery. Not worth driving back for but seriously, 2 years into a pandemic places should be rocking out the carryout orders. Also, they must have added a bucket of sauce to one of the wings, it went EVERYWHERE in the bag so it was mess to open and clean up. Won't be back.
I’ve ordered here or five times. I keep giving them chances but my order has been correct 2 times out of 5 (so 2 stars). The two times they were correct we ordered online and our ordered never went through or weren’t entered. It has all been during Covid and I know they are short staffed so I’m understanding up to a point, but waiting 1 hour in their lobby, just to be told “oh we’re get on that an enter it” was pretty frustrating. I hope they get the staff they need to succeed.
