Great food and service! Just need to turn down the AC. It's always so freezing inside my wife doesn't even want to stay that long without a coat. Doesn't need to be 50 degrees in there.
Solid choice for lunch or dinner. Blackened salmon was very good. This is not Louisiana blackened where its very spicy or sometimes salty depending on the hand preparing. I'd put this in "lightly blackened" category. Well prepared and paired very nicely with a side salad with balsamic
Great food, good service. Fair priced and not a bad margaritas! Kid friendly and lots of sports to watch. Our waiter Brice , was on it!
You know, say what you'll say about these style of restaurants but Applebee's is great because they serve a proper meal late.I chase storms with my friends every year and we frequent Applebee's for this reason. We can get a good tasty meal late which is way better than a bag of fast food. Across several states/locations/towns we always get the same consistent friendly service and good food. This location just north of Des Moines was no exception.
I have always had a great experience here wether it be dining in, curbside, or delivery through a third party. My 7 year olds love going here because mozzarella sticks are a side option on the kids menu. Employees are always friendly and welcoming.
Very disappointed with the service. Waited almost an hour to be served with three families seated after us served first. When our food finally came, we had to then wait for silverware and then had to request napkins. Have enjoyed dining at Applebee's in the past, but today left much to be desired.
Tough to get a seat on Friday nights due mostly to the kitchen being so busy with carside-to-go. Several tables/booths must be left empty. We usually eat at the bar. Great food!
Good food. Love curbside! Easy online ordering & the selection, especially the "sides" & "extras." The combo platter appetizer is a fave of our family. Prices aren't horrible even during this time of high inflation.
My young son And I went early before the crowd hoping that we could get our food in a timely manner.Of course all we ordered was a corndog and waffle fries. Yet half an hour later the table next to us had their waffle fries and their burgers and we still had nothing but I couldn’t ask the waiter because he kept hiding.if Something Happens you can at least give me the respect to come and talk to me and let me know so I can make decisions instead of treating me like I’m stupid. Needless to say it has been one hour and now my young son is very hungry but we need to come up with another plan.
Came in and got the bourbon street chicken and shrimp, there was hair in my food, the waiter forgot my sons fries, both of my kids chocolate milk. Never have I ever came here and had hair in my food, normally my steak isn’t done right but not hair in my food. Very disappointed.
