Had to wait a little to get seated, but not bad. Server was very good. Food was a little pricey considering the small portion sizes. Nice atmosphere, but not really impressed with this place.
Love, love, love this icon of Ames restaurants. Always great service, neat atmosphere (you should check out the roof top!) and proud supporters of ISU.The grilled cheese & side salad are my lunch favorite but the Deburgo Burger with cheese fries (to die for!) are my evening recommendation!

Fun restaurant with great food. The restaurant has wonderful sports themed dining areaseith plenty of space, a fabulous bar and patio area, and the service is outstanding.
This was my go-to spot in high school and I still stop by sometimes when I'm in town. The food is pretty good but the vibes are immaculate. The wait staff is always super nice and the food is delivered quickly. Absolutely bussin.
We went on a Saturday night. I had a party of 8 people. They took well over an hour to sit us down other people were sitting down besides us. I don’t know if it was because we had a large party with us or because we were being racial profiled but my advice is do not go there with a large party on a Saturday night. You will be for a long wait. Food was decent and service was good.
Nothing really stood out here - seems like a decent local spot to get a beer and a bite. I had the tuna melt, knowing in advance that it was "open faced". Sorry, but IMO a sandwich by definition (by the Earl himself) must be eatable by hand - no knife or fork required. The meal was OK. My son ordered the BBQ burger w/o onions, but it still arrived with grilled onions. Oh well, mistakes happen and he picked them off. Service was fine.
Horrible experience and this was not the first time. They have the worst customer service and we will never be back.
My husband and I love Wallaby's. We normally get carry out and eat at home. For some reason they wouldn't answer the phone tonight. We were really disappointed since we had been looking forward to it all week. Could we get an explanation on why no one answered??
The place it self was nice. The food however was rather disappointing I had the Mahi Mahi fish tacos and they put teriyaki on it and blue cheese which someone didnt let them know that those ingredients do not belong on a fish the blues cheese made it taste like feet they shoulda kept it simple n made a nice pico to go on it n maybe a little avacodo with the pineapple pieces cut smaller and infused with the pico would have really elevated the dish and made it more light and yummy in most cases less is more the rice that was with ut was just bad again light less is more wild rice doesnt go with tacos ever. My boyfriend had the dip with mushrooms and he wasnt impressed the fries were cooked perfectly crisp outside soft in the middle. Even the IPA he had was good and neither of us normally like IPAs. Fairly citrusy which was helpful in take out that bitter taste most IPAs have.
