Food is not good, service isn't much better. Would not recommend going here.
$14 for a smallish burger & cold onion rings served on a plastic tray. Not worth it. You have to order at a counter like McDonald's and you need to get up to find your own napkins & silverware.I'll pay $14 for a burger, but it needs to be a much better experience than this.
We went to the Whalburgers at Hyvee and the crew pf 3 was standing up by the drink machines talking and carrying on. We walked around the whole restaurant and not 1 clean booth. Not acknowledgement at all by any of the employees.
We stopped eating there since it became Wahlburgers. The food is gross. The drinks can be good, though, if the right bartender is there.
I hate giving places a 1star review but this is our 3rd time eating here and it truly is not up to par. Service is very slow, waiters are not present at all. We have had wrong orders 2 out of 3 times and even cold food. I do not recommend eating here until management of this restaurant is better.
Servers stand in a group and talk and will ignore you 100% of the time.
Less selection and more expensive. Not a fan of new menu. Previously was a great value and wide selection.
Paul and Alma's recipes were not prepared to their standard. The sides were great. The Wahlbrewski light lager was surprisingly good. A very clean hopped up light lager made with American hops. I will be back if the beef improves. Local Iowa beef is better.
