The staff was helpful, attentive. Til they get you seated. Then, Mary, hope you brought a book. Burgers are stone cold, the cheese tastes like Velveeta, and the bun is thick and dry. Not good.
Had lunch, service was great, meals came out quick, Burgers were very good. I really like my cheese stuffed burger.
I got the Cobb salad and it was the worst salad I’d ever had. It looked like raw bacon and didn’t even have the avocado and looked nothing like the photo.
I would definitely recommend this place! Gabriella did a great job and provided great service for our table! She is easy and fun to talk to!

Decent sports bar with well above average (not quite stellar) tap list, 50 taps, some local and other national craft and domestics. Service is hit or miss, but people have always been nice who worked there. Burgers are okay, perfectly serviceable but nothing spectacular. Also we have had several “suspect” pours of IPAs here that aren’t quite as that respective beer normally tastes - not sure if they are old/mishandled kegs, or dirty lines.Cheese curds are large cube shaped, not quite traditional, and are delicious! They offer 3 types of cheeses on the curds to select from. Also the fried avocado spears are great appetizers. Tacos were decent, the pork option was good. Prices are fairly typical but this place does offer decent happy hours on apps and drinks.
Nice spot. Decent service. Decent food. Not my first choice in Ames, but I would come back.
Good burgers, we had the brown sugar smoked cheddar burger, the Cheese curd burger, and the blue cheese stuffed burger, they were very tasty! Also the cheese curds are to die for!!
